Today I went to health centers (PUSKESMAS), to check my health. I was very surprised, because I only have to pay Rp 5000. I did a thorough examination, and I got the medicine. I ask, how much should I pay? Officer said, I do not need to pay more, because the government has provided funding for public health. I am very pleased, there was also, government programs that are running. So far, I only heard bad government. But, now I feel the goodness of government.

Well, it's not a hot news. A puskesmas is free from the day 1 it was established. Is it your first time? :)
That's why sometimes I don't bother to watch the news. The media has played a good game in confusing people's mind.

Alhamdulillah, I am fine, never been better.
Well, yes I work for the government, however I don't deal with public health . I think everybody knows about free health and free education, however, as every provinces has its own autonomy, the application may vary.
Mrs. Indah, I am glad the puskesmas in your area changes for the better

yes should be thankful to the governemnt as it should provide such facilities to those who will not be able to pay their medical bills.
At least those who are in need should get such compensations,so that it would help them in their life.

This is wonderful to hear that you have found a facility that is funded through your Government. Here their use to be a great many of them but due to cut backs sadly many no longer offer free assistance.
The very few that do exists are so overloaded with patients that most will be without due to limitations.
I am very pleased to hear you did go to the doctor and do hope you are doing okay.

It does seem all so wonderful when we receive benefits from the government. The only problem is that it cannot always be like that, at least for the majority of people. What the government gives you, they have taken from someone else because the government does not have their own source of income.
In our daily lives, sometimes getting our immediate needs met is the most important thing, and we see no need to analyze things any further. I am glad you were blessed.

All government are providing free health services to their citizens. It is part of their responsibilities to cater for the welfare of the people. In our country it is free of charge when we go to government hospitals. But because of the crowd in these government hospitals I usually go to private clinics.

The goodness of government? What a concept! We don't hear that very often anymore. It is sad but true. I am glad you got to a doctor and that your meds didn't cost very much. So, I hope that your thought system has changed and that you now see a more positive government because of your experience.

You are lucky to see that the government is doing something good for you. There are countries whose government are doing nothing but suck the living life out of its citizens. I am just so glad you are not in that kind of a situation.
