How often do you surf the net using your phone?

I have had my iPhone for about a year now and my web surfing habits have changed. Instead of opening the computer or laptop to check my emails or browse the internet (when bored), I do that now in my phone. I think this is more to the fact that I am able to lie down while browsing through my phone and another is that I do not have to set up my phone if I want to browse compared to when I need to boot up my laptop.
How about you my fellow mylotters? what are your browsing habits? :)

i really wish i have a phone that is capable of browsing the internet. if i have that, it would be easier for me to be active in mylot and im sure my earnings rate would increase. it would also help me to conserve electricity on our household.

Hi, I did try doing mylot on my iPhone but to be honest, it is a bit difficult to do it from there since the screen is so small and like the iPhone for example, it is touch screen. It was a bit difficult to do that - of course, we are entitled to our own opinions however it did not work for me.
I used the phone more to browse or just to be updated with my friends via Facebook or Twitter but that was most of it.
Hey that's great maz1207 if you were able to do that. :)

I bought my iPhone 4S when it was released one month ago, and I use the internet on it every single day. In fact, I used so much internet on it on the first month that I had it, that my bill has turned out to be incredibly large, so it is something that I am going to have to try and sort out for the future. I love the fact that I can just go online and chat to my friends whenever I want to and wherever I happen to be at the time. It is a fantastic invention, and one that I imagine will go very far in the future simply because it makes everything so easy for us.

How is your iPhone 4s? I think that is the danger of owning a smartphone - incurring huge amount of bills!
I got an iPhone 4 and was lucky enough to have it bundled with a data package but it was only good for a year. I had to disconnect it because it was getting a bit expensive so I switched to owning a blackberry - still does most of the social stuff except for browsing and the games :(
I guess you cannot have them all.

I use my phone to surf the internet, when am not home.It is much faster when i use my phone,an i can chat while on the go with my friends an family who are online.
I can log in my phone at time, sometime my husband is using the computer. So then i just use my phone, while relaxing .
I use it once in a while, and i enjoy doing it.

Hi tash01, that is very true! Since a lot of traffic in almost every part of the continent, I think it is best to have a smartphone with you - especially if you are just a passenger!
I do use the phone to chat with my family back home and getting busy with Twitter or Facebook! Since I don't get to do that when I get home because I have to prepare for dinner and do household chores. I use what I call 'traffic' time to chat with my mom or friends back home.
Another thing I do with my phone is listen to music or podcasts!

I'm always using my phone for Internet, I use it pretty much everyday as It's easy and convenient to just check something or update something on Twitter or Facebook. I use it while I am out or if I am on a journey somewhere to stop myself being bored on a long Bus or Train journey.

I use my smartphone to browse the internet quite often. It is so convenient to be able to check my email and such whenever I want. If I have a few free minutes at work, I will get on my phone and check out the latest news stories and sports scores. It is actually become a bit of an obsession to me and I am totally lost without it. My phone has totally changed my internet use.

Hi woody7189, it did the same for me... for about 3 months and then I went back to the ever dependable computer / laptop because browsing is easier when you do it over the computer however you are right - since our office has restrictions on what websites to access, having the ability to do it over your phone means a lot - for things that you want to check, the movies you want to see and a lot more which is actually a good thing!
I bet you are an iPhone user?

I only use my phone whenever I'm in a free wifi spot. Browsing social networking sites, opening mg email account and reading news. But I find using a PC more convenient on surfing the net. Sometimes I feel uncomfortable on using my phone surfing the net because its too small for my fingers.

I use my iPhone for pretty much everything! Very rarely do I use my computer unless I need to pull up several pages at once. It's possible on my iPhone, but more proficient on my computer. Other than that I do all my internet business on my phone. It's quicker and I can do it anywhere. Plus, I prefer typing on my iPhone because it capitalizes everything for me. I've gotten so used to it that when I type on my computer I constantly find myself forgetting to capitalize my I's and such! Haha! Pure laziness on my part...
I'm actually posting this from my iPhone right now ;D

Hi, I do that very often.. Usually when I am at the train when I am off for work.. Or sometimes, even at work, I browse the net using my phone.. :)))
Then, when I get home, I browse through my laptop as it is just so small to do it over the phone and I have games to play online.. :)))
