If you mean extended family like having your first family (father,mother and siblings) living in one roof I think there are pros and cons on that. One pro, you are like one big happy family and chores are shared and divided. Cons you don't have privacy and sometimes more troublesome than being happy if members do not do their fair share.

Benefits : you will be having people to share everything including your work. Burden: you will not have any privacy.
