America is going down the crapper, so I've seriously been considering moving to a new country lately. I was thinking Ireland. I've always been kind of unsure about that idea, since I know the economy is pretty bad over there but...It's not like here in America we're doing any better anymore! So why the hell not?

Haha yes! Canada would be a good place to move too! I live in Massachusetts so I think Canada is sort of the same thing, a lot of nature and stuff. :) Yeah, I'm Irish and Spaniard so it's either Ireland or Spain for me! Portugal I bet would be awesome too!

I wish Australia would say that anyone that wants to move there could during the next year and that all the people wishing to so should take their passport to their nearest Australian mission. I would go to London to Australia House on the Strand to get permanent visas for me, my disabled son and my daughter. Since I became 18 years old I have dreamed to moving to Australia. I went there on my world trip at age 20 to 21 years old. I fitted in really well and made lots of friends. I traveled to New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, Queensland and the Northern Territory. At age 28 years old I visited Western Australia in detail and loved it there. I was 29 years old when I visited New Zealand and quite fancied moving there. Australia is a very large country with population of 20 million. New Zealand has a population of just 4 million. I love Australia's landscapes and its wildlife. I get on well with Australian people. Their outdoor lifestyle and weather are appealing to me. I was able to find work in Australia and used my working holiday visa.

I would love to go to Australia some day too; but I don't know if it will ever come to pass in my lifetime. There are so many restrictions to even leaving the country since 9/11 . I am in the USA

I had stayed in Singapore, Hong Kong and California. I had just moved from California back to Asia. Well, I think I am fine to live in any country as long as my family is with me.

Hello Joy. I have been to a number of countries in different parts of the world. They are all very nice in different ways. Coming back to your question, if I am given the chance to move, I would very much like to move to Switzerland. Very beautiful and peaceful country. The people are very friendly too.

Skyscraper at Ciudad de Mexico - A skyscraper at Mexico City.
I love to live in my own country. But if I had to move by any reason, I´d probably want to go to live at Ciudad de Mexico, in Mexico. Ciudad de Mexico is the biggest city in the world and it has beauty for every taste. Parks, museums, awesome paintings, a royal palace turned into a museum, great ruins from several cultures. You name it. Mexicans are nice and helpful with the tourists. Music and dances are awesome too, for those who like folklore. Besides, It´s not as expensive as other countries.

Hi little franciscan: First of all I would love to say that I love my country but I am also open to new experineces. I think that if I someday move on I would chose Canada or France. Canada because I have also known that in Canada there are a lot of job opportunities and in France because they have a really good educational system. I have started investigating about Sweden and it's also a really beautiful country with a great welfare system. ALVARO
