Have you experienced working in a graveyard shift? Not only it's dangerous to all but very harmful in our body, it's like we're slowly killing ourselves right? sleeping during the night is much more beneficial than sleeping in a day. Night differential is not that much right? but how come people like me stay in this industry? i wonder..

For about 6 years I worked the graveyard shift and actually prefer it over day shift. It's just a matter of getting used to I guess.Dangerous?I don't think that it is,I haven't heard of any studies done about the subject or any long term effects associated with working weird hours. Do you have any other choice at present?Maybe, but would you rather work daytime with much less salary?Sometimes we have to ask ourselves If money is the main concern over our own well being.Compared to a 9-5 jobs out there working in call center is far more financial rewarding but less on social life I supposed. You'll get used to it.

well dangerous in a way that people have to travel by night.. hahaha but i guess even the community itself is adapting. I'm currently a supervisor so money is my concern as well but yes you are right social life and family time is less.. : )

i worked in a call center company for about roughy 2 years. i was literally a night owl because during the day i am asleep and at night i am awake. i was tired of the routine because of not sleeping at night but then i got used to it. i also loved the job because of its salary and the many benefits that it gives. now i miss working in the call center since i am already employed in the hospital.
