for us Filipinos are intact when it comes to family concerns but how come when have this "sisihan" issues (pointing fingers) first before we all sit down and try to solve it. It's like we have this specific attitude that when something went wrong we need to have some to blame it for. like what happen to my husband's sister who was pregnant at the age of 16 yrs old and instead of supporting her they all ended up thinking who was to blame for what happened to her? what do you think? do we all experience this kind of mentality?

I am guilty of this. I always find someone else to blame when something did not work out for me. I have pointed fingers on everybody, well, of course except at myself. I think you are right with your claims. Most of the Filipinos does not want to take the blame when something's wrong, and I think this is because we don't want responsibilities.

you are so right LaraTecson, even i sometimes blame my parents. I guess that's the mentality that we filipino's can't fix even now we blame our leader (president) regarding the poverty when an individual can actually do something about it

I know! I hear so many people cursing Noynoy because of the poverty they are experiencing. C'mon he's our president, not a superhero with super powers. Noynoy has only used one year of his term as of now. He still has 5 more years to prove himself. If we do not believe in him, if we don't trust him, if we don't follow his orders, then how an he make a change in our country?

Hi pretty. I believe that not all of Filipinos are like that. I think the reason why sometimes some people are like that is they don't actually know how can they cope up with the problems/trials they encounter in life especially if the family is not that close so they don't know how to ask for help and share their difficulties so tendency is they just blame it on others to release the pressure and the emotions they are feeling inside because of those problems.
