subtitution for the linesman?

the soccer match between Everton VS MU ended 0-1 for MU victory. the match run well and with high tension for the both team. but, you noticed one accident abut linesman?
yeah, the linesman got substituted when match almost end.
until now, I don't know the reason why the linesman got substituted?
any one know the reason?
I never see the linesman substitution before

I haven't seen this game, but the referee and the linesmen can be substituted when they are injured. And they can be injured with a hard shot or by a player, without intention and there can be muscle problems to them also. It doesn't happen too often, but I have seen this happening a few times.

It was something from the Romanian League, but I don't remember the teams anymore. And I have seen European Cup games also where the referee was substituted.

wow, two referee substitution at once? which league? I think all referee must learning and practicing how to dodge from the players now, this time they only practicing how to dodge from the ball
