Why most of the women are so moody?

I just can't understand why women are so moody sometimes they just change their mood without any good reason I can think of. Are all women really like that? For men here how do you cope up with a moody partner. For women what is the real reason behind this? or you don't agree that all women are like that

Well, since you do not have period each month, you can't be moody always or every period.. Woman fee that way because we have monthly cycle,we have mood wings so that is why we feel and experience that kind of mood..

Yeah we know that but of course sometimes we just can't understand the sudden change of mood even if we try to.

Maybe monthly period is a factor why women are like that but is it really all about that?

Now, Now, Not ALL women are moody! Don't let that one woman, ruin it for all of us! If ya wanna get technical, "Men" can be just as moody, ya know. Nobody's perfect. I'm sure WE all have our moods.

That "blame it on the period" is nothing but an excuse! Life goes on with or without it! I have a girlfriend that lays in bed for a whole month, during that time. She claims that's the best time for her to get pampered. wtf? I tend to get moody when my s/o gets moody with me. If he wants to give me any lip, I give him lip, right back. Other than that, I wouldn't consider myself as one to be moody.

haha easy my friend! But you are right some girls really take advantage of that "thing" using it as their reason for their not-so-good attitude

I agree not all but I think a lot of girls are. That's why i'm asking you girls if you have some reasons about it I see one response saying it's about girl's monthly period.

I think that young woman may not know their own mind and so they change it several times. Young women jump into relationships before they really know themselves and what they want or need. This would make anyone moody. They need to take some time and get to know themselves better.

They want to change the man to meet their needs.

So you mean it is more on their part not on men? that they have a problem with themselves and just try to express it through nagging

Yes,there are many moody girls. But not all of them are moody.Girls, unlike boys, show what they really feel.Sometimes they are happy, but when they experienced something upsetting they just change their mood so easily.Unlike us,boys,we tend to just keep our feeling inside. GIRLS seem moody just because they express what they feel.:)

Yes,men are better hider of feelings. When I am angry I just keep it inside. When I am happy I just smile a little. When I am sad I just keep quiet and goes somewhere there is no one. Girls are different. When they are angry they will look for someone who can listen to them. When they are happy they will talk loudly to their friends and do some laughing. When they are sad they will go to a friend and will start to cry. Girls and boys are different.:)

Nice thinking there ferb. That's what I just told in my reply to one of the responses that maybe it's just because men know how to keep their emotions much better than girls do. And maybe men have so many ways to have fun so we don't have much time to be sad or feel bad about something.

Who says women are moody? Honestly, yeah most of us are But there are reasons for being moody. Men sometimes are so insensitive and that is why women becomes moody.

Hahaha I really thought you're gonna argue about it. It's good to hear some women here do admit that it is true the most women are moody. And as a man I admit that sometimes we are insensitive but we don't mean it girls

I partly agree with you. Not all women though. Some women like expressing their emotions in different ways. Being moody may be because something is bothering her and she want it to be noticed. Unlike men who will put a smile to please someone even when they are going through hell.

Lol I've actually noticed that a lot of times it will be a woman who puts on smile to please. The men I've known have gotten pretty moody and angry when things aren't going their way.

Uhm you have a good point there maybe men just try to suppress their emotions more than women can.

They hate worry eating their hearts out so they have to vent that at some point. First way to solve is to determine what causes them to be worried. I think they will be less moody after their worries go to a minimum.

Yeah I can understand your point maybe guys just need to predict the mood swings before it happens. BUT that is HARD!

Not all women are moody, or as I like to call it CRAZY! I am a woman so I am not sexist lol. My theory is that estrogen triggers emotion and women have a lot more estrogen than men. There for, most women think with emotion rather than logically. I am sad to say that I have no idea what to tell you about dealing with these crazy emotional women, because they don't usually make sense to me either. I used to be insecure and think emotionally about that. My husband told me that I sounded rediculous and told me to look at situations from a different perspective and I listened. Now, before I burst out with estrogen fed emotional responses, I stop, look at the situation from both perspectives and then decide how I feel. I think that is pretty rare for women to figure this out though and I am not telling you to say what my husband said to me. I might just be weird lol. Maybe you can pay a little more attention to what she says when she is mad, just study her different moods or tell her that you realize she is in a bad mood and ask what she wants you to do. I still have days where something makes me mad and puts me in a bad mood, but I usually warn my husband. I will say, I'm cranky, don't know why just letting you know not to talk to me lol.

Good to hear that some women agree about it. I'm not sexist either I love women It's just I don't understand it maybe if it is about hormone imbalance due to monthly period then there might be a medication for this?

i agree with you, most women are really moody due to hormonal changes. Just get off the girl if she feels irritated.

This is essentially true.. Women gets moody sometimes. Hehehe.. I don't know.. Maybe it's because we are more emotional than men. We take small things heartily. I think, for men, just don't get mad if your girl gets moody. It will end up so soon. Just try to understand her feelings.
@phillyguy (3005)

Yeah maybe it is because women are so emotional but the problem is why not talk about the problem right away when you're feeling bad or something instead of torturing us men. haha! By the way I don't get mad about it I'm just trying to understand the reasons behind this "modd swings".

haha..blame it to hormones... we women usually experiences mood swings when our hormones are too up or too low..i know you cannot completely understand because there are things that only women have...but if your girl had it too(for sure) try to understand and be with her..**

Then I hate those hormones kidding aside I know that hormones do affect your mood but you can't always blame it in the hormones.

Women are moody as a sign something is bothering them. I am the moody sometimes LOL! When i get moody is because something is bothering me, or i'm having a bad day! however some women get annoyed really fast and they just turn moody! I don't think all women are like that though some are really sweet women and express their feeling and things there going through differently.

Uhm then why not share what is bothering "you" so that the guy can understand and maybe can help.

of course, you have to consider personality. Science, though, explains this moodiness as caused by female hormones(which is quite natural) Don't take those moody moods personally, it'll pass eventually as long as you allow those girls to let their emotions out. That's what my BF did, he ignores my moods, and it kind of works. No fighting happens, since you are the guy,(i suppose you are a guy) then you'll have to bear with it I'm afraid. XD

for me you are right ! although not all but most woman are really moody. As a girl maybe because we have this instant thoughts and ideas that was too hard to explain, ( sometimes hard to share ) so instead of explaining it we just try to act it . And some people specially guys there take time to understand us women !

Maybe it is the quality of women in the world. They have more feelings than man, they consider what they think is the best. They consider that you are wrong, you are wrong, they have no foundation, they have only feelings.Sometimes they would judge somethings wrong

Yes, i must say women changes their mind so easily. Actually , a little cajoling could even make them change their initial decisions. I guess, it has to do with their hormones. Specially when one is already growing old like me, gosh sometimes (take note: sometimes only) i am moody. I would get angry but in a little while i am already laughing. I think, you should just try to understand your partner.

It depends upon the situation. Sometimes women want everything to be organize and in order wouldn't you get irritated after taking care, or getting everything in their place nice and neat, if someone just messing and cluttered it. Plus women have a monthly period its so hard to work and yet people around us are not helping us to get it done. You just have to understand it and if ever your girl is in moody try to find out what's her problem, and might you want to help her to ease that mood. Anyway that moody feeling doesn't last long so don't worry much about it.

If it is about someone messing up or anything I could understand that but what about just a sudden change of mood without a reason?
