I am really sick and tired of the nonsense posts of my friends in Facebook. Is it necessary to post every action of yours in Facebook? That is too personal to be posted. I do hope there is a "dislike" button for that.

There are other options to voice your dislike. You can block that post, or comment "dislike" or report if it is offending you or any of ur friends. So thats why Facebook didn't keep a single dislike button. You don't want to see your status update with 3 likes and 5 dislikes right, thats not considered as social. If your friends posts obscene or things u don't like either block him or his posts or just that single post. Dislike is not logical

I agree, social network will lose it "socialness". Maybe forums would be the best place to place dislike buttons.

I think there is a dislike button. I think it is a plug-in from mozilla firefox. But of course, your friends would not know that you don't like what they are posting if the plugin is not installed on their computer. It really is very annoying if your friends keep on posting nonsense ideas. It is so irritating.

There is no dislike button, but there is a delete button. There are so many people who do such different things on facebook. What I hate is those who like EVERY single thing that is posted by someone. I find it to be ridiculous. Another is when they say something just to see if someone will say something back and start a fight. I also don't like those who say everything they are going to be doing that day, or that they are doing in the progress of the day. I don't do statuses like that, in fact, sometimes it's a week before I update my status.

Well, that is something I usually skip in Facebook but it seems like many people like such nonsense posts, mostly they are highly ranked as having most responses. To me, it is a shame to post something personal ie. Am cooking, expecting people to turn out in large numbers to comment.

That's basically the reason why I am not hanging out in Facebook lately. I became so curious about what I see about their life before and I tend to know every issues they have in their life.

True to that. People nowadays feel the need to express what's on their mind whenever they want. Maybe that's one effect of modern social networking to us. We see the Internet as a one big stage where in you could express yourselves and all of us are doing everything just to be heard by others. There is nothing wrong with saying what you think ion the internet. I just hope that instead of posting non significant things, post something that would open the minds of others once they have read it.
