I was quite looking forward to it- but still it is hot these days and it is almost November now. They days have just become shorter and of course, the nights longer- but that's it. I don't get why there isn't even chilly winds yet. is this one of the effects of Climate change?

In Romania, we have cold weather for a while already, having a few warmer days last week, but it is pretty cold for almost a month already. We had a warm September and suddenly, from one day to another, the weather dropped a lot. It is cold enough already, having temperatures way below freezing point at nights and only slightly above freezing point during the day. Maybe you live in a place where the weather is better, be glad for that.

Yeah, for countries having four seasons they are already experiencing the start of the winter season. I live in a tropical country so most of the time it is hot here- but our summers have now become even hotter.

So I guess the world climate now is changing, I just hope it's not for the worst. Maybe it's time for us to think of something to save our planet because this is the only one we got at the moment.Imagine in your place where it used to have four season but now down two.As a tropical country we only have dry and wet season, when it's dry it is really hot and when it's wet we got too much water.

It starts to become a two seasons country also. The summers are long and dry, with hot weather and then in October the temperatures suddenly fall, from one day till the other. And we don't really have rain or snow.

I'll tell you what ... you can send us some of your heat, and I will send you some of this cold. *BRRR*

That is true that we usually only complain if it is too bad and not manageable. I really like the warm weather, but I do sometimes complain when it is too hot and muggy and uncomfortable, because it is difficult to do anything when it is like that. I also like the change of seasons and would miss it if we didn't have them, but when it gets cold and windy I have to admit that I wish for the warm weather again.
I actually guess that it isn't that bad right now with the cold, but since we had very warm weather only last week it seems like it is freezing right now.

So the cold weather had already started in your place. We also feel the cool air at night time but at daytime it's really hot. The scorching heat of the sun is unbearable, the only consolation is at night time.
I hope next month will be a cool one.

If that could be possible my friend, it will be of great relief for both of us. Anyway, we only complain if it gets worst but if it's manageable I guess it's just fine.

I'll ask the central heating guy about it this afternoon when He's coming around to fix a problem that meant I've had no heating except for fan heaters this couple of weeks! Thankfully,We haven't yet had the double digit (Celsius!) sub zero temps we had this past couple of winters, but I'll be happier not worrying about a frozen water pipe risk when the system's fixed again..

I could have imagine how cold the double digit sub zero temps you have experienced the previous winter. Well , all extremes are not good. I just hope the central heating guy have already fixed your problem.Right now we are experiencing occasional rains, at least at the moment we have cold weather. Thanks for your time my friend.

I do not want it to be cold! I've heard in my part of the US that it's supposed to be a milder winter and I sure hope so! I think they said only a little snow and that's fine too! Last winter was way too long!

Well, it is quite fortunate that I live in a tropical country, and our definition of cold here is just 18-25 degrees Celsius since we don't have winter here.. I hope it doesn't get too cold in your country.

Yes, I've heard it too that it's almost the start of the rainy season. Weather forecasts said that it could start next week or early June in time for school opening which I guess is also not good. Heavy rains will mean flooded streets that could mean traffic. I just hope it will be a bit colder if it rains.

It's cloudy the whole day today, in fact it had rain in our place for half an hour. But even though it's a bit cloudy we still have warm weather. The occasional blowing of winds did't help either. I just hope the rainy season starts this week.

well we have a totally opposite situation stanley. in our place, the cold season knocked at the door as early as mid septermber. trees are everywhere here my friend. i suppose you live in a highly urbanized area. if that is the case, try wondering if global warming is the cause.

I'm happy for you my friend because you have experienced already the cold season. In the place where I live it's really hot. We only feel strong winds whenever an airplane takes off because we are very near the airport.
I hope next month will be different. Thanks for your time my friend.

Yeah, your right. In fact, it's on the news. Snow and icy rain have just hit the US east coast yesterday with the forecasters warning that the snow could file up to a foot of snow. So the cold season had just started in east coast.

I believed so.
Same here in our place, the cold weather supposed to start since last month, but until now the weather is still humid.
It is only during night time the wind blows cold, but not as cold as the old years.

I think so too, our weather is unpredictable. The after effect of man's unmindful destruction of the environment. We can say that we begin to experienced cold winds blowing during the night especially at dawn but not the same as the previous years.
Thanks for your time my friend.

It has arrived in the northern part of Luzon and I did not even used the fan to keep myself cool. In the coming weeks maybe it will be felt in Manila. Must wear jacket now if walking outside at night.

It's good to hear that you're beginning to experienced cool and chilly winds in your place especially during the night. I think in our place it's for sure we'll feel it by December. I just hope it's sooner because hot weather is unbearable sometimes.

Yeah, I think the cold season there had just started. A common knowledge too that winter season is just around the corner. Not like in tropical countries where we only have two kinds of weather, wet and dry. So we only experienced cold winds when it blew from colder countries in our direction.

Yeah at our place also there are no chilly winds yet.I am early waiting for winter season because of these hotness. definitely i agree with you regarding the environmental changes. Our earth is becoming very hot because of the pollution.

Well, at least we do experienced cold nights once in a while but not like before. In the olden days this time of year we usually experienced cold breeze from the winds coming from Siberian Peninsula and China.
Some countries experienced the same fate too, either through snow storms, flash floods, sand storms or scorching heat. I guess the results of climate change.

Like you, I am also waiting when the cold season starts. I never liked weather when it's too hot coz it's giving me bad headaches. I do think also that climate change may have contributed to it too.

I think it has already started here- or maybe it is just because there is a storm or intertropical convergence zone. there was a really strong rain yesterday which put out the electricity and now we have cloudy days.
