Do girls really prefer taller guys?

If you will ask only me, then I will have to say YES, I prefer taller guys. It's not like I'm dissing shorter guys just because of the height issue, it's just that I find them more attractive. Again, that's just MY preference - I don't know about other girls I still think you will still grow. But mostly you will get it from your parents genes too. If any of your parents are tall, then there is a big possibility that you will get either your mom's or dad's height

5'7" at 16 is amazing!!! That's my height at 19. You will grow till 18 and will get a growth spurt at 21 after which your height will stop. It is not about what girls prefer but it is about the 'Alpha Male' theory. The guy should be tall, well built, should be well supported. In short the guy should be able to take good care of the girl and protect her from other guys. That's the only way a girl will SERIOUSLY be attracted to a guy.

If you after getting or making girlfriends then,I guess girls has their own preferences. But if you want true love,height doesn't matter at all. Girls only look outer appearances when it comes to admiration and crushes. Once it comes to love...outer looks are not an issue.

My friends often play basketball or they are athletes and every time that we gather I was always surprise how they become taller each time that we are all acquaint. Maybe because their body is working out always and do some stretches that did help them become taller. Try it too, might it work for you. Girls mostly fall for the attitude and not the whole appearance my husband is kinda short too but I fell for him because he is smart and doesn't have any vices too.

Yes, you're young and i think men will reach his maximum height at 24... I do not choose man because of his physical appearance but I choose him because of attitude.I like those who are caring and sensitive.

Hi ferbjohn69! 5'7 is fine. I guess it depends on the girl. Personally, I like guys taller than me. I stand 5'2 and my boyfriend is 5'9. About your question whether you will still grow, I believe it depends on your age. If you are over 18 I think you don't have a chance anymore. If you are below 18 then you will still grow couple of inches. Just be comfortable with your height and be confident with yourself. One thing I am sure of is that girls love confident guys! I think that it depends on the person you're taking to. Some women do like tall guys, but there are also some women who prefer shorter guys. We're all different, and all have our own preferences.

taller, shorter, solid body, good appearance, rich boy.....etc., these all are not the factor. It is varied from one girl to another. It is depending upon their past and backgrounds.

I guess,it depends but to be honest I prefer my boyfriend is taller than me because i am 5' and plump,so i have some friends around me,they think the height do not bother them

Aww... I find shorter guys much cuter and good looking! To me, as long as the guy is just taller than the girl, even if it's a centimeter, then it's fine! It would look pretty awkward if the girl was taller than the guy! What's another problem is that when girls wear heels, there's like an extra boost in height and the guy is going to look like a dwarf from way down there so it's not an attractive look. I guess that's why girls go for tall guys. But really, it depends on personal preference and your feelings yo that person. If that's the case, height won't matter. But for me personally, short guys tend to be cute, I'm short anyway so it doesn't matter. I reckon you'll still grow but much slower than before but you'll grow, probably up to like the age of 18 to 20?

It's possible you will still grow a bit till you are 18 or 19. Mostly boys (over here in western countries) will have a fast grow at the age of 16/17 years old. But it all has to do with your dna too. So if your parents are not that tall don't count on you being a giant one day. Personally I don't like a guy who is smaller as I am (guess it makes me feel huge or so) but I know enough women who don't care if the guy has the same size or is even a head smaller as they are. In the end it's not about the inches but about the inside. Since you are only 16 you have enough time to find out about what love means and how important your size in the end is.

For me, height really doesn't matter, all is fair in love, what matters is you both love each other. And besides you are still young, you will grow some more inches i think..
