do still appreciate poetry ??

As what I have observe nowadays, people have small interest when it comes to poetry .
They can't find time reading and writing this but instead more are fun of quoting there emotion or something ?? Why do you think lesser people used to write and read poems ?? how about you , which do you prefer , poetry or quotations ??

I loved poetry when I was studying Literature back in formal school. In fact, I can still recite some of the lines my teachers made me memorize for oral tests. Am afraid though that I don't open books now and had not read a real good poem in the recent times. But my mind is always full of poetry when I try to describe scenes I see in everyday life. Three days ago, I saw a rainbow even if the morning was shining bright... and behold, it was poetry in my mind...

Good to hear that . how I wish more people would also say the same .
I can't really deny that poetry is getting lost in this modern days ,, FOR ME !
I have not encountered teenager like me who is in love enough to poetry like me !!
HOPE I COULD FIND SOME !

I love poetry, I wrote poems and quotations sometimes when in on the mood. Sadly I agree with you that most of the time people nowadays are not interested reading and writing about poetry. Out of 10 of my friends only 2 of them are interested reading and creating poems.
