Hello everybody!!!
I live in U.S east coast and the snow decided to come early then we thought.
So yesterday we had a really bad storm around here and since yesterday at 1pm we do not have power in the house, no hit, we can not use the toilet and water.
We have a lot of tree felt down around the town, all the wires are down also.
Children will not go to school tomorrow because the damage.
We heard that they need at least one week to try to fit it and everything to start to work again.
Right now I am at Starbucks trying to charge my cell and computer. I think everybody around the town had the same idea as well.
I came to this discuss to share with you guys and say: Happy Halloween!!!

Thank you for reminding me why I left snow country, I lived in upstate new york for my entire life up until 6 months ago when me and the family moved to florida. I just could not handle another harsh winter, reading this discussion reminded me of what I left behind...I am praying for you and all those left behind in the snow

You are lucky that you moved to Florida.
Many people don't like the winter time and when they have this opportunity to move they do it.
Florida is really good place, very tropical weather and the best thing is you guys don't have snow and don't need to use thousand clothes.

Hello Lisbella. Yes, I saw the news on the TV about the snow storm along the northeast coast of the US, and New York had a very heavy snow. Yes, this is quite unusual for the region at this time of the year. I can understand you are going through a hard time. Yes, thank you. Happy Halloween to you too !

It's good that you're not totally cut off from the outside world despite losing your power at home. I think that feeling of being cut off is one of the worst things about bad storms...you can't tell relatives and friends you're OK or check on them. I guess it's not going to be a very joyous Halloween with all the power lines and trees down -- hopefully people will still find ways to celebrate.

Yea, I have a son and his family living in Waterbury, Connecticut and they got about 21 inches of snow yesterday and last night. They still have no power and no heat. That is really crazy weather even for New England (snow before Halloween). . I wonder what this says for "Global warming" and I don't accept that this is a consequence of it.

wow that's terrible my friend! I live in the west coast and things aren't that bad! The days look calmly beautiful and i'm surprised because every previous year by this time it's always cloudy and wanting to rain. but this year looks like their is no sign of rain LOL.
Stay safe my friend and happy halloween! ;D [BOO]

yes It is that crazy.
We still without power, the town is a complete mess with all wires on the floor.
They said maybe will take one week to fix everything.
The children around my town are so sad because they cancel the halloween party at school because they don't have power.

i think everyone thinks that the weather anywhere around the world is crazy. I am sure many people will agree with me that it is the effect of climate change.
