Does taking antibiotic medicine will affects your period delay?

From what I have always understood is that antibiotics can lessen the effects of certain birth control but I am not aware if they actually affect the menstrual cycle. I was checking online and also read the same as above and I could not find the medications online. Also when one is sick the stresss and illness can also delay the cycle, so it is probably best to call up the doctor and or the pharmacy and ask if these have any effect to your delay. It would be best to ask as stessing even a little will further delay it as well.

it's not about the day your period always has to start but about the days in between. You need to know when your cycles is. Every 21 days? Every 18 days? Every 24 days? Every 6 weeks? (yes this exist too). If you are regular and you know the days you will see its not possible you always have your period at the same date since not every month a year has the same amout of days. With some people stress, vacation, being busy, illness etc etc can be all influence on the menstruation. Others don't have that. Medications I never heard about only tht many of them including antibiotics will make birth control pills work less.
