Ok, now that I've warned you...
There is a major hole in the story line of the movie.
In the movie, Army helicopter pilot, Colter Stevens appears in the train as Sean Fentress. By the end of the movie, he has changed the past, so that the train explosion never happens. Everyone on board is saved.
Except Colter Stevens is still inhabiting Sean Fentress's body... so what happened to Sean Fentress?

Yeah I was actually left with big questions on my mind. I was actually confused how the whole thing happened. People were saved but Colter and Sean are still on that very bad condition. I actually wished Capt. Colleen Goodwin would just again disable his life support.
And I also think that since the source code is effective, they might want to start going back to change Colter and Sean's life giving back to them their normal life. I feel for Colter, in reality it is not right to make someone who's already suffering, suffers even more by going back to those timelines. His body was a mess and they're messing up with his mind too. But then again, Colter eventually liked what he do.

Of course Colter likes it.. he gets the hottie instead of dying. But what about the hottie? Christina will spend the rest of her life with a man who isn't who he says h e is.

Well yeah that's kinda sad for Christina. They only get to see each other for a short time. I wouldn't wanna be Christina, but would love to kiss a hottie Gyllenhaal.

I had to watch that movie two times to understand what s going on.
And the argument is very rare never saw something like that n any movie, and less think that it could be possible.
For me it is incoherent , no sense of tension, dull and repetitive, horrid ending, the bulk of the film is a "whodunnit" and the perpetrator is the first person the audience suspects and the last the protagonist investigates. Really poorly? done. Insults the intelligence of the audience

I think the movie is confusing. Is it Sean Fentress's body on the train? Why is it that face of the mutilated body of Colter Stevens has the face of Sean Fentress? How does really Sean Fentress looks like?I think the director\writer of the movie does not really completely figure out it's confusing script or story?

I really liked the movie. It was not confusing. The thing is that the scientists built a machine that can transport a person into someone else's consciousness for few minutes in the past and then he can manipulate that time frame for that definite period of time. So the prtagonist is required to find who started the bomb blast as he is threat to the country since he carries a vehicle full of some bombs. But what they do not realise is that they have created a machine that creates a parallel univrse everytime the protagonist goes into the past. Now , for a fact quantum physics believe that every planck of second millions of universes are being created. So it is no big deal that the machine creates a parallel universe.
And the movie is just not about who did it, it is about a man who is being caged and made to do things against his will. And how he finds a way to regain that freedom, saves the country and well as a bonus finds someone else. It works on two levels : an emotional level and a thriller level. And it is this emotional turmoil and morality and freedom issues that the movie raises makes the movie a very solid movie.
And as for Sean , since his consciousness is occupied by the protagonist, so he is not in the story anywhere except his physical form.

Good point,i think most of the directors who make movies based on concept of parallel universe are themselves quite confused about handling this subject. However in this case director purposely wanted to confuse the audience that what i feel.
