Hi syoti! I use oyster sauce in cooking sautee'd mixed vegetables. I put in the garlic and onions first. Then my veggies (carrots, asparagus, cabbage, etc.) I season it with fish sauce and oyster sauce. Then I finally add in some bell pepper and tomatoes. You can opt to pour in some hot water with cornstarch or flour to add body to your dish. :) I hope this one helps!

You can use oyster sauce in making a vegetable viand called chop suey. It is Chinese food. You saute garlic, onion, then add your veggies such as carrots, chayote, bell pepper, cauliflower, and oyster sauce. Very delicious and healthy at that.

haha, Oyster sauce is usually used in chinese cooking, chinese dishes. They are be used in anything, but it goes well with fried 'kailan' or some other vegetables.. haha Oyster sauce is more like taste enhancer, so it should go well with most dishes, thus saving on condiments like salt, sugar and pepper I'm sure some of your dishes can have oyster added to them too, just that dun do it on fishes.. haha

I normally use oyster sauce in stir fried dishes especially when I stir fry veggies and beef. Oyster sauce can also be used as a dip with steamed vegetables. You steam broccoli or cauliflower and then just dip the veggies in the oyster sauce and eat the veggies just like that.

I treat it like teriyaki sauce. I put it on stir fry, (vegetables and meat). The best part is, stir fry, with sauce of your choice is probably the easiest thing you can make and its always delicious. Even without vegetables, stir fry, meat only and toss on rice (though not very presentable) is fine.

In fact the oyster sauce is a common sauce here. You can use it to make the noodles, mushrooms, vegetables and so on. When the dish is almost finished, then you can put some oyster sauce on the top and then mix it. It will taste well.
I love China

I use it all the time when I make stir fry. After stir frying the meat and vegetables, I make a mixture of a couple of tablespoons of oyster sauce with some water and corn starch and pour it into the wok to finish off the dish. I stir the mix and it makes a nice glaze. It's delicious.

We used to use oyster sauce mainly for just two dishes, mixed-vegetable and fried rice. I did try it with some other dish which include meat but we rarely cook them. You can search for chinese food since they used oyster sauce in most of their recipes. If you hate to browse for a new recipe then just try the one that they have suggested above- the mixed-vegetables!! Yummy!!!(^^)

Hi there!
Oyster sauce has been my fave sauce when cooking. I use it on veggies mainly but I also use it on my seafood recipes like shrimps with broccoli. I just made an article about this seafood recipe, you can check it out on my profile if you want,it's in my food blog. When I cook "ampalaya",I also use oyster sauce,it's the best! The bitterness of ampalaya will diminish, try it!

I love using oyster sauce with my vegetables like cabbage, carrots or young corn. Just experiment on it and you can never go wrong because it naturally tastes good. You can also saute it with meat.
