Last week my cousin arrived from his village from Chennai in South India. He is a B.Tech in Architecture. The interview place is another 35km from our home. We started one hour early. But we got trapped in the traffic jam for about 2 hour. They have diverted to another route and that takes another extra 5 km to our destination. Finally we reached the interview place around half hour late. I was waiting out, my cousin came back told that the board do not want to hear any explanations and thus his chance is gone. Have you got into any such traffic jams that spoiled what you wanted, hope not….

Hello Sham, That is sad situation indeed. Punctuality is very important for interviews, even though it is not your cousin’s mistake, we can’t blame the officers. Traffic block causes inconvenience to me also but not for an interview, sometimes can’t reach office in time. For important things we plan accordingly because we aware about the traffic blocks. I think a better opportunity is waiting for him so no need to worry.

oh yeah, when I was sent to attend to a seminar, because of the traffic jam, I was late for 2 hours and I lost the chance of listening the messages of 2 great speakers. I really had the trouble because I couldn't get the whole flow to be shared when I returned to work. I was just saved when copies of their speeches were given to us.....

I remember one time when my husband and I got stuck in traffic. We had gone to the big city on the neighbour island and we thought that we had lots of time so we went shopping etc. All of a sudden my husband discovered that he had a meeting on our island and there wasn't much time left, so we ran to the car and started driving back to our island. We thought he would be able to make in time or if there weren't any problems on the road, but all of a sudden we ended up in a traffic jam (because one of the bridges between the islands was closed) and my husband missed the meeting.

Hello, I never faced this problem. But it is right that traffic jam may be hurt some one. Some time one cannot reach hospital in time and he/she will lost his/her life. Some time it happen because some VIP will be crossing from a route. We have not any solution of this problem.

If it is any serious hospital case, may be it would be really a mess. Wished soon people may find alternatives or better advanced technologies...

I've watched the TV Show called "IRT Deadliest Roads." I have got to say......Those roads there are scarey! And the traffic jams are insane! I think ya should've started the day before, not an hour before. We have traffic here, but I wouldn't call them a traffic jam unless there's been a car accident.
