Recently oxford University students made and invention to improve the knowledge and skill of the student. It is made through current.First an instrument was kept on the forehead of the person and then an electric shock will be given to the person then the nerves start working properly. In this way they planned to increase the knowledge.
What do you think about this?
Thank you.

My goodness an electric shock to increase knowledge? What’s wrong with good old fashioned study? It sounds like the treatment they used in mental institutions years ago! I can’t say that I agree with it, I would not like me or my daughter hooked up to such a contraption and I am surprised these methods are being used at Oxford!

To be honest, I don't believe the effect of the ivention. Or else, if the ivention can really increase our knowledge, then we will don't need teachers, books. So I guess the invention can help enhance the ability of memory, which I think is more reasonable.

Does it really work?If it does I should try it once it's commercially available.I hope it does not have any side effects. If it is successful this intention will really make a huge impact to the human race.I wish someday everyone is intelligent.:)

there are already lots of ways to enhance human minds just like in the field of medicines. there showing the positive effects of it but the big question is... how about the negative effects of it to our body? have people also thought of that before they undergo towards it?

I think it is a good idea and invention. But I still afraid of its effective. Whether there is another way to increase my knowledge beside learn and exercise in a long time. If the evention is sucessful, noone must go to school. Right?

oh dear looks like a mental patient getting electric shock
yes it may work on the same principal.sending out shock waves may act as a booster for nerves and thus can aid in proper functioning of brain.

There's little information provided in your post, i think. And like the others above, it seems like a shock treatment. Those Oxford people, I'm not sure what they are up to...
This invention could either be harmful or in some way beneficial. I'm no expert so i don't know what to think. I'm neutral on this subject. If this experiment goes well, i hope they use it for good and if it fails, they can simply think of starting another invention that makes more sense. XD
