Hi amelly. I too have those feelings. I had a close friend in elementary but she left when her family transferred home. That was a great loss for me because I confided my concerns with her. Then when I got old, I have my few set of friends whom I confide my worries. They gave me strength in times of trouble and they were there when I can't talk to my family. However, again... they left to migrate. People come and go in our life. But we should not lose hope that we will see them again or spend time with them. Also, just don't lose hope to find another new friend whom you can trust. Never get tired of trusting and being trusted. If your friends are not around, try calling them. They may be in the same situation, just waiting for a friend to call. Have a nice day!

Most of us have many friends but there are only a few that we get comfortable with. I mean there are only a few that we can share our secrets with. There is always that doubt in our minds that this so called friends might use the confidential information against us in the future. I have an online friend that has been my confidant whenever something troubles my mind. I trust her and I know she will never betray that trust. While we come from the same country, we have never had the chance to meet because of the demands of our work.
