Ain't that the norm for famous people, see who can have the shortest marriage?

Oh Wow! I didn't even know she got married. I used to watch that show but stopped a while ago. There was just way too much drama. It's like their entire life is for the camera. How could they possibly have time for a relationship anyway.

Another celebrity marriage cheapening the act of marriages. That is really par for the course a lot of the time when you really think about it. Marriages often don't act too long involving the famous and really, seventy three days might be a dynasty compared to more than a few marriages. Then again, when you think about it, a lot of times people rush too quickly into marriage and then they regret it almost immediately. It is really just frustrating to see something like this happening and the media circus that goes along with it. Is anyone really surprised that yet another celebrity marriage ended rather soon? After the big hoopla and the highly produced affair and whatever, it ending in just slightly over two months, yeah that about figures. Of course, it's not just celebrities who have the short marriages, but it does seem that way when the media decides to ride it into the ground.

I think they are the perfect example of how the marriges these days are so messy. They were not married, they were not divorced. They are so chaotic person, aren't they?

I got the news too, I wasn't surprise i knew they weren't going to last but it shocked me that happened in 72 days. I am a big fan of Kim Kardashian but honestly i don't think she knows how to pick the right guy! I never like the kris humphreys guys very hideous and a true jerk. I don't think it has to do with the NBA season, come on Money is not the problem for them. The problem is that they see life differently and have many differences. Hes a jerk and she's basically like a "Princess" you can call it. The marriage was a BIG fail, and let's be honest mostly everyone including Kim kardashian's sisters knew he wasn't the right guy for her. Kim can do better than that dog-face of Kris humphreys!

you know im not shock in that news because its like a play in the Hollywood in terms of marriage they will married and the after months or years they will file a divorce that's the cycle even before, and come to think of it they waste money their marriage is worth $17.9 million dollars they waste the money for nothing what the heck? they waste it for nothing that's a big amount of money i don't care about them but i care about the money that they waste, it can help more people who are in need.

The true cynic in me thinks the marriage and now the divorce are just a means to an end, to make as much money as possible through selling her story to the press. The romantic in me thinks that she thought that like in all fairy tales the prince marries the princess and they live happily every after. Fairy tales don't deal with the fact that life goes on and everything is not perfect, I am sure that they have to adapt to married life, and this can be difficult for some. It is odd that since it is only 72 days she is not looking for an annulment, maybe it is more complicated.

I can't remember when it was but it was speculated that the marriage was some kind of publicity stunt. And I am inclined to believe this since she was making big money from selling the rights to broadcast/take pictures of her wedding and things like that. I also heard that he wasn't even her first choice. She or her reps actually approached some Italian NBA player first. At least that was what I recall hearing. But that aside, I'm not surprised that she filed for divorce already. She does seem like the flighty sort.

I don't think Kim is a marrying type herself. She has been married and divorced once before already and even her own sister Chloe was doubting Kim being in love with Kris Humprey. I think Kim is in love with the thought of being in love with the possibility of everything around it being perfect. She's dreaming...I guess she realized it's time to wake up.

HI Blue65 No surprise to that one I think it was just a publicity stunt I don't the chick anyway I think the whole show is just dumb and that mother she just tries act so much younger than she is ... its like she tries to be their sister rather than their mother....poor Bruce Jenner

Hi..woow this is very normal in the world of Hollywood. People get married without thinking about it and taking it seriously.They ar taking fro granted the sanctity of marriage because they know they can divorce the person whenever they feel they should even if the reason is not that serious.This is very disappointing.

It was so obvious that this will happen. Their marriage was so scripted from the beginning. It was obvious that they also planned to end it sooner. I think it will last a couple of months before this marriage issue between them disappear.

in my view, that would be a big shame. marriage is sacred and if two lovers enter into that arrangement, they are agreeing to the word of God. and if they broke that commitment of love, they are also committing a sin.

what a waste to spend so much on the wedding and divorced after.
