The death of Ram Revilla last October 28 become an instant headline and we netizens are instantly shocked and angered that a seemingly random crime claimed the life of a son of Ramon Revilla Sr.
Its almost predictable that the entire Revilla clan will unite and condemn the tragic and horrific death of Ram Revilla who was reportedly shot and stabbed multiple times. His gf was also attacked but fortunately survived. Sen. Bong Revilla offered a 500,000 pesos reward for the capture of the criminals behind Ram's killing.
Then the breaking news today turned this entire tragedy into what could be a family scandal if proven true: that the police have arrested two suspects who confessed that 2 members of the Revilla clan, both siblings of Ram Revilla - were behind the crime. The two young suspects were Ramon Joseph who is just 18 years old and Ramona who is just 15 years old. The police alleges the 2 conspired and planned Ram's murder and hired the 2 hitmen for 200,000 pesos.
Do you believe this latest shocking news? If it is true, isn't it depressing that your own brother and sister will take your life? The unity of the Revilla clan may get shuttered if this is proven true.

So sad. According to this article they were fighting over the 1 Million monthly allowance from their father.

Ramon Revilla Sr. was such a playboy, how many children did he really sired? I'm reading like 80 to 100 children all from different women.

Yes, m4ndr4ke i heard that one too. And i didn't just hear it well, because i was in the kitchen , but is the 1 Million allowance monthly, for the siblings?
Wow, it's indeed a big money and there might be some truth as to why they would kill Ram. Maybe Ram is the one handling the money to be distributed evenly among the siblings.

SIMPLYD, that might be the case since (I think) he's the oldest among them? It's just so sad that whenever money's involved, people tend to do something so hideous that they can't even be called as "people" RIP to Ram Revilla.

I guess this is something people from powerful political clans who have a lot of wealth and power has to live with sometimes at least in our country, there are just times with a strike of bad luck when their lives would take some bizarre or gruesome twists and turns, anyway all suspects are still presumed innocent unless proven otherwise, so let's just all stay tuned where the investigation is heading in a couple of days.

But these kinds of things don't just happen to rich people. This have been a story of lot of families. There are a lot of cases you would hear in the news about relatives killing their own relatives. However, they are rich and famous in our country that is why it is everyone is treating it as a big deal.

It happens to people at all walks of life but the media is giving out so much attention when it's a celebrity or a political figure that's been killed because it could draw the mass to listen to the news, follow every detail of it, and react to the issue. Recently, worldwide singing sensation Charice Pempengco's father was also murdered and the media does not stop there just by stating out to the public what really happened. They will still have portions of your news life talking about a detailed description of how Charice goes home, see her father lying on the coffin, meet her dad's family, until the burial or even until justice is achieved. It's the same story with the Revilla's, much that they are more famous.

@LaraTecson and gagagaohlala, The Pempengco case is probably what you are referring to as an ordinary case in our country being sensationalized by the media, and I agree with you, it's an ordinary "inuman" (drinking spree)and old grudge sort of crime . I would disagree with both of you in this case, why ? Ever heard of a parallel case where a 22 year old and a 15 year old siblings are being accused of hiring multiple gunmen for 200,000 pesos to kill another brother? Yes killing relatives is common but not in this manner in our country it ain't Comparing the Charice crime with the Revilla crime and saying it is being sensationalized is inaccurate, Charice is just new rich because of singing while the Revilla clan is a Powerful family that has been in power for generations, they have Senators,Governors, Mayors and a Mayor who happens to be president of the Mayor's league of the Philippines.

It is shocking to hear such news! A son of Ramon Revilla got murdered just like that! I was at first asking why when Ram was a very amiable looking guy? Well what is more shocking to me is the fact that his siblings were (more likely than not) the suspects! And what is more shocking was the killing was triggered by greed for money! How could these wealthy folks kill each other for the love of money. Indeed the love of money is the root of all evil. Better to be poor than to be rich if this is the case. At least if you are poor you have no money to fight over. It is actually a shame to the Revilla clan. And Joseph is 18 while Ramona is just 15? (I did not know this my dear.) What a waste of life all because of greed!

In a layman's point of view, it is hard to tell if this is indeed true.first of all, blood is always thicker than water no matter what.but in this modern era, clashes between family members could be an exception. Money could be a possible motive to point out but i am not saying that this is an absolute truth to the revilla family. it is just my opinion.

yes we are proud that in the Philippines they make a one Filipino a symbol of 7 billionth baby, but don't forget that before we made it we Filipino made the 6 billionth baby a symbol of 6 billionth baby is now 12 years old, come to think of it before they made a billion people around the world in times of hundreds and hundreds of years but now only 12 years in the making we made a billion people what the? it means the population in this world is so fast unlike before, it is so alarming to us because the poverty will rise again, but what can we say ? babies are gift of GOD so don't complain :).

Right. This is not just a random killing but a murder that has been planned and was tried to execute a couple of times before they finally succeed. I was shocked when I heard the news a while ago. I could not believe that he was killed by his own brother and sister who are both younger than him. It is sad that sometimes, you can't even trust your own family. The ones who are supposed to be giving you love and care are the ones who put your life on their hands instead.
What I do not get about this is how the hell do these youngsters two hundred million pesos? And what could be their reason for killing their on brother? There might be a really dark reason that pushed these two to kill their brother.

In the latest news today, Ram's gf, told the police that Ramona, one of the suspected siblings involved, came to the bedroom to seemingly borrow the video cam. Then when the door opened , a man in bonnet suddenly fired and hit Manahan and Ram and then they scuffled and the man stabbed Ram. At this moment, Ramona kept shouting tama na , and only then did the man stopped and walked away.
There withnesses who saw RJ and Ramona walking out of the residence, so they suspect that the one in bonnet was RJ.
I think, at this point i believe that it were indeed them who planned and killed Ram. This seems to be a case of Cain and ABel. Sad and disgusting that a family could be like this.

if what the suspects are saying is true i do not think that the revilla family will allow their own blood to be behind bars and even though that is true i dont think they will condemn their own relatives.
