Sometimes I agree to your view because I myself is a person who pretty like to go shopping in various kinds of supermarkets!^_^I always go with my sister!There are many kinds of products that make us wishfully hope for! You know the goods in the big supermarket are very expensive and sometimes just a hat may cost you more than two hundreds yuan!The clothes in the supermarket are very very beautiful and we always like them very much and wanna pay for them,but in effect,we will have not enough money for life if we pay for these clothes! Sometimes we will be very happy if we afford the clothes we like very much, so I agree that money can buy happiness! Have a good day!

The idea is quite childish.(For me... no offence) Because true happiness is expressed and felt in various manners depending on the person's lifestyle. For a kid, or a teenager, (that's something I've noticed from your reason) yes, money can contribute to your happiness. But, the true essence of happiness is something that stays forever within us. Its something that you will experience in the daily living (once you've found it). And money - can only but temporary things. When you get older (or when "we"get older) everything will eventually shift and change our desires in life. And somewhere in that changing pace you will loose the interest of material things. Money can give us happiness, even buy it-very correct of you. But then again, not in the long run.

Yes, the material need is also important in our lives. Perhaps in some aspects it is true that you will be happy since you don't afraid of being lacking of money. But money can not buy everything yet. I think you know it quite well. At least you can not buy the life. I love China

Hello kibinkibin, It depends what is happiness for a person.If person feels happy for shopping then of course money can bring happiness to him/her. Money of course is needed to get stuffs like flowers and can make anyone feel good when he/she has it to fulfill his/her desires.

Well, in my opinion, money can buy happiness to some extent. As you have pointed out, it can be used to purchase things that can make you feel happy, or impress the girls out there or please somebody or boast off to others. But I think, money can't buy all the happiness in the world. Some happiness in the world can be nurtured by money alone, but some things aren't supposed to be that way with money. I can cite a lot of things that brings about happiness in life that money can't be sure to buy. Money is just a start, but to be happy is does not rest on money alone. It still depends on you. Just my thoughts.

money can buy happiness.. why? just a shortcut. 1) if you have money you are handsome. 2) if you have money you have the power. 3) if you have money you are respectful.

Ooo I wanna do some hitting. Haha jk. Well the only way money will get me happy is by when I get I paid. Every Friday afternoon or every Sunday is the day I get happy. Hahaha it is the day I get paid. When I get paid I can buy my things already. I can save up for when there are specific things I really want to buy like vacation trip spending money or Christmas gift (that's just around the corner). I could also buy things like cd's or iPods and stuff. Money does make me happy but we also have to learn to not get greedy. I remember the times I started working with my cousin and got my first, second, third, maybe until my forth paycheck. I didn't want to spend any money at all because I never saw $1,000s of dollars in my account before. I didn't even give my mom what I usually gave her back when my dad would give me money before I had a job. Thank God I had family that cared and talked about money. Now I give my mom and dad a little more since I earn a little more. Haha sometimes it can be hard wasting money but hey why do we have it if we aren't gonna spend it, just to see it laying around?

I agree.. but only to a degree. Continuously buying things doesn't give you 100% happiness. While it sure helps, I don't think it's 100% of the "happiness formula".

Yes, i don't know why some other people don't agree with the fact that money can indeed buy happiness. And even though can buy happiness, money cannot buy all things.

LOL! I see, I think it depends how you define the happiness of money. Money can buy happiness if you can use it to pay bills and buy the stuff you want to buy..If you think it that way. But there are some cases probably where they say I can give you my money and the other party says, I don't want your money. LOL! There's a quote - "Success is getting what you want; happiness is wanting what you get". hi kibin! at some point then it really is! i have to agree that money can buy happiness since now a lot of things has been priced! we should need to have a lot of money to buy what we want. i am starting a business now and i need money for my capital. with that then maybe i would be happy because i can help my family with my own earned money!

the bible says money answereth all things. yes you can buy all those lovely stuff you so desire to make you happy but such happiness is false because in the absence of money you loose happiness. the real happiness comes from the inside when you know that despite the absence of money you can still smile back at life knowing that all is well. whether you don't have money to get flowers or buy yourself a new car. this happiness can only be gotten in Christ Jesus. he can make all grace abound you. jesus thought for you are thoughts of good and not evil, he wants to see you happy and prosperous. accept him today and get the real happiness you want.

I don't know that i agree with money buying happiness. I guess it's all in what you consider to make you happy and what part money may or may not take in it. So far i have not seen anything to do with happiness that money ever brought to life.

that's right that money can buy happiness, but it can't buy all of happiness in this world. there are so many happiness that you can feel without bought it. for example your family, your friends, your healthy, etc. you don't have to spend your money to be with them, just show your kindness and they will be respect to you. and you will feel your happiness.

See, I'm on the flipside of that coin. I don't care much for material things, especially if they won't last long. Take your flowers for example. I couldn't care less for them. They are a waste of money and die within a week or less, unless you buy a rooted plant in a pot. But, just those flowers with the cut stems they sell at all the stores? No thank you! Besides, to me, the company I keep is much more important than the material things in my life.

well money cant make you happy. it might satify you for a short time with a girl. but once you take her out your broke again so what have you really gained. money is good to have but theres only one person who can make you happy. don't know if you can say it on here so i wont.
