Banks cave under pressure on debit card fees!!

What are your thoughts on this? Also BofA won't back down from it.

They're responding to the market which is exactly what they should do. This is capitalism at its best. Bank of America back tracked, too, and will not charge for debit card use:

It gives me hope that the American public still has a say in what happens to them.

Exactly, we the people do have a right to say something without being shut down, comes to show when we mean business and possibly threaten to leave or cancel the bank account, they lose business so we win that round. Lets just hope that things will get a little bit better in time...

hi metalsplinte hurray hurray hurray. y es oh y es thank G od.,using our debit cards are a fast smooth easy way to pay for groceries instead of making a long line of people wait while you make out a check and the cashier checks it to be su re its valid. use your
debit card and you are done in seconds not long minutes.the damned b anks already have enough fees we do not need debit card fees.
