It works for me. I tried it in hotels and other places when I am alone. Try it!
HOW TO USE AN ELEVATOR WITHOUT STOPPING:
If you press the "Floor Number" button and the "Close Door" button at the same time, the elevator would not stop for anyone in the way and will stop directly on your destination floor.
*This is used by police to get to floors quicker when they have operations.
*It might not work in some elevator systems.

hi another trick I was told but never needed to use it if something goes wrong andthe elevator 
suddenly goes zipping by floors way too fast you must press a whole combo of numbers,what this does is make it stop at the next floor as it engages some gears or something to stop the elevator. then get off it and do not use that one again til it gets repaired.either use a different elevator or use the stairs.
