What do you think of the new Page View statistics on Helium?

Yesterday, Helium finally gave its members what they've been asking for for 4 years - we can now see how many page views each article gets. I love it, but I think I'm becoming a Page View Addict. I used to check my earnings twice, or maybe three times a day, but since yesterday, I'm checking it out every hour to see how much the page views have moved. I suspected promoting on Twitter was helping my earnings, but it was confirmed yesterday when I saw the articles I'd tweeted rack up more page views more or less immediately. I also notice that my articles on 'Pride and Prejudice' and 'Hamlet' are well into double figures for page views already. They're obviously on the curriculum for the first semester. What about you? Do you like the new feature? And are you in danger of becoming an addict?

I'm truly glad that Helium has finally shown us how our articles are doing where page views are concerned. Now we can know which articles are doing well and which are not. And we can also see how much the views are worth. This is a great step forward.

Hello, UmiNoor. As you say, this is a big improvement. It will help us to target our writing to the most lucrative channels. Aside from the money, it's gratifying when you see that lots of people are actually reading what you've written. Unless people contact us directly, it's the only real feedback we have on our work.

Hi Sandra, they should have started this long ago. Just too bad that they do not have historical data, and we cannot track the page views of those articles posted years ago. I dearly love to see the number of page views for my top article, which has earned about sixty dollars in revenue for me! I think the page views will run to a few thousand, or even over ten thousand.

I have not posted on Helium or wrote anything there in a long time. I guess I should check and make sure I am even still registered there it has been so long. But if you are having positive things happen there just from twittering that is always good. Makes me want to consider rechecking out Helium for sure.

Greetings Sandra, senior poster on myLot, best site on internet. Is troubling to be seeing your postings about addictions, as addictions is bad things, that can not lead to good things. Is being too late to go to treatment programs perhaps? Best wishes to esteemed friend Sandra for beating page viewings addictions.

Good evenings, most felicitous friend on wonderful site called MyLot which is best on Internet. I am most gratingful for your concernings over addicting for page viewings. I can assure you that page viewings are not harmingful substancings, and I am not needing to be going on the cold turkeyings like most other peoples who do not having such a strong willings as your humble and most unworthy friend. As you know, I am very willing, so your turkeyings are safe for the Thankingsgivings - I shall not be requiring of them.
