Personally I wouldn't want to know, I mean the exact date. maybe I am still scared for the thought of death but I know that all of us will reach that point. I just don't like the thought of ending my life in a tragic accident. I would like to be prepared somehow like seeing my children grow. Or maybe I could ask forgiveness to the people that I've hurt and forgive others as well. I want to leave this world peacefully.
My question could be a little morbid hehe. But I'm really wondering how different people view this subject. Have you lived your life fully and ready to die anytime? Or are you just like me who is still scared of dying?

People have different views in life but me I would not rather want to know when to die..well God only knows. It's just I want to spend every second of my life a happy one, life with no regrets as possible and that I will not think of what time, day or year or whatsoever I am going...you know...but we must always be prepared ^_^

Certainly only God knows about it. I don't want to play God either by knowing what my future holds on. I will just try my best to be prepared so if the time comes that I have leave, I am ready.

there are certain reasons why some people would rather want to know when their time is up. on my part, half of me wants to know when my last breath will be. it's weird i know, but it gives me a lot of "what if's" if i never had that chance. it's like viewing hell slowing running near you when you're up all night and counting your remaining days but at least you can make every second worth it. i might not sleep at all in that case and make all my impossible dreams POSSIBLE!!! laugh as much as i could. eat as much as my stomach is seconds-away to explode and love like everyday is my last day and HEY!! it's gonna be my BIRTHDAY everyday. HAHAH

Hi! This is really creepy. I myself don't want to know when I will die because I want to live my live as it is and not because I know when I might leave this world. We will all die, so live a life. Be a blessing, don't hold grudges, love and help one another and serve God faithfully.

In every step we try our best to live fully and to be a blessing to other people. I think knowing when to die could be a little deliberate in everything that we do.

Me too. I don't want to die with a tragic accident. If I can choose i will just have an illness or maybe a heart attack. i don't want though a lingering illness. So weird of choosing a way to die right?

I would love to know when I'm going to die so I can spend all my money and make sure I have all the fun possible. I also want time to spend with my family and not waste time on so many stupid things, I currently waste time doing. Knowing exactly when you're going to die would also allow you to make plans for others. Why spend time toiling on a job if you know you only have a little time left? You would make sure you got in all the travel and vacation experiences. Also, knowing how you're going to die would be a bonus, as long as it was not going to be in the gas chamber or wracked with pain in some hospital.

Everything is but destined.
Everything that is happening has reasons,if ill die now there is certainly a reason why.Seeing the future will not help you that much. It'll just freak you out..Better live your life the most each day without knowing when it will end.

I do not want to know when I'll die. The thought just scares me. I do agree with wanting to be prepared before leaving this world. However, I do not want to think that I am preparing just because I know that my end is near. I want to do that out of my own volition and not because I got scared into doing it.

I don't need to know when, that will happen with destiny has said it is time for that part of my journey to take another turn.
thing is you just triggered a thought. All this end of the world phenomenon going on, with people thinking it could happen is going to spend, and go and do things and spend more.. interesting how we are played to get us to spend ..
Enjoy the journey for what it is,
don't dwell on the which way to turn,
Destiny has already been chosen,
Ride the wave of life..

I like the line that you said here "Ride the wave of life". Most important things is that we live and we should be happy with our journey. Make the most of what we have right now.

Knowing about when I am going to die, I really wouldn't. Putting a time limit on my life is just something that makes me uncomfortable. I fully realize that my life is going to end at any time. That is just the chaotic nature of life. When it's time it's time and you will be going rather quickly. Naturally however, there are just going to be times where people who are going to want to know this, but I am not one of them.
It would always be in the back of my head, for better or for worse. The thought that I am going to die is always going to really be wearing on me. That is something that can potentially psychologically knock around the back of your head. It would rather bug me. I would like to live. I would like to live my life without any thought of where it might in fact end. Knowing that is really going to put some time stamp on it.

Me too. I wouldn't want to know when I would die. I wouldn't want to know anything that would happen to me in the future. I believe that knowing those things would negatively affect my life. I would be paranoid all the time, I would not be able to enjoy my life and be happy. I would just be thinking about that day and what would I do to prevent it from happening. Knowing when will I die would definitely destroy my life. So I'll just live my life and see what happens to it as I go.

I also think the same. If we will know it then maybe for some people they would live fearfully every single day of their lives.

I do not want to know, not because I am afraid of. But, let it be a mystery, it will encourage us to perform better and always be ready. Ready to fulfill our family need, in case the worst happen.

We should not spoil the mystery of life. It is very important to let go of any ill feelings that we have. Should it be hatred or unforgiveness or anythings which is negative in order to live a happy life.
