Guys not only the internet you can found the real scammers
They are on anywhere, know why?
I will share you in my country, when you go to streets
you can say some ladies carried their infants.
They are asking you to contribute a few cents from you
Their reason is, they are out of fare going back home.
I give her coz i felt bad while im looking her baby
but not just said i believe her, i walk in a few steps
and observe this lady if she will ride a jeepney
but still asking some people passing on that street.
Would you think that she has lucking fare going home?
On my part, shes just using her baby to contribute
and earn, so that lady is a big scammer!!!
Be careful when you encounterd this kind
of situations!!!!

What a high earning scam!

I was victimized by those people before but I didn't stop giving them money because I still believe that I am lucky compare with them. they even tricked people to earn small amount of money. I usually saw a lady carrying an infant or little girl/boy and asking for money because they were robbed and they don't have enough money for fare. Some would say that they needed money for medicine. But the worst thing was, they used their own children who was mentally and physically disabled. That was heartless but I cannot blame them, maybe they just don't have other choice. I just hope that the money they got from fooling people will proceed with the needs of the children and not for their own pleasure.

I agree with you. It's everywhere around you. Even so called friends will abuse you ask you for money if they know how to abuse your feelings. And if you don't like or can't give they will still try by saying you are heartless and you are not able to put yourself in your position.
We have the homeless-newspaper over here. Nearly at every supermarket you find people standing there. Mostly from Romania. I always gave some money, thought the guy is homeless. He is also kind and standing there for hours.
Later I heard his wife is standing at an other supermarket. Both don't start that early and arrive by bus.
A few weeks ago there was a big tv show about these homeless-newspapers. Seems that most of them don't exist anymore. Now someone is making them and everybody can buy them and sell them for twice the price somewhere. So these people are not homeless at all and the money they earn is not going to the homeless people/shelter either.
There are people who have false ID's, the homeless-newspaper has nearly the same name as the original one and they are really agressive if you ask them for their license. By standing there at the supermarket (which is mostly used to that person and never informed if this is for real or fake) they earn hundreds of euro's a week. Also interesting is that many drive a big car and own their own house.
It's amazing how some smart guys took over this and made a big blooming scamming business out of it and nobody is stopping it. Although the money those people earn is a big income and they don't pay tax at all.

We call that a beggar and a scammer as she doesn't need the money for her ride home, but maybe she needs it for food. I know there are scammers everywhere, not just on the internet. There have been a few stories on our news lately about scammers.
The one big one going around right now is that people are getting phone calls saying they are from their internet provider and they know that you have a virus because it has affected your internet service so you need to log in and go to some site and it will clean it. But when you go to that site you pick up a virus for real and then they try to sell you a virus cleaner. People are falling for it because by luck they mention the right internet provider to the person so they believe it. There are only two really big providers here where I live so it's a 50-50 chance for the scammers that they say the right one.
littlemissy here signing off for now,
talk to you later my new friend

I have seen a lot of beggars who do this trick. There are a lot of them in my school, and they can be irritating sometimes. Usually when I eat outside of our campus, they would always show up and keep bugging me until I give them money. They make their babies cry thinking that I would feel more sympathy if I see a baby crying. But no, I actually get more irritated when they do that. Yes, I pity the babies who are being used by their mothers to ask for money, but if I give their parents money, how would I know if they use it in the right way. So what I do with them sometimes is just give them my excess food or drink.

yes they are on anywhere, you cant see them
that they are beggars coz they wear clothes
in decent and they change their way of asking
money. Giving food is a good idea coz thats
i did sometimes, but more of them they never accept
the foods, they said they want some additional fare
to going back home.

Scammers were here anywhere in the world before the internet was even thought of.
My grandfather told us stories when we were kids and we thought yeah ok, we were innocent children who wanted to believe in truth.
After we grew up we found scammers from the street level all the way up to the corporate level of life.. Yes becareful who you deal with. The journey we travel has many trials and tribulations.. when donating to a person on the street are they in need for real or are they just trying to scam us. That is a 50-50 chance for either. I give change just in case it is someone in need so they live and eat another day.

In my country there are people that rent the babies and go to the street to ask for money with the kids of another person just to make money, and they give pills that make the child look sleepy so the people will feel more sad about that baby and give more money.
