I think the only disadvantage of being a student is the expenses that we spend to school because like here in our country the school tuition is too expensive and most of my countrymen cannot go to school because they cannot afford the tuition fee but there is also lot of advantage when we go to school like after we do schooling it is so easy for graduate student to look for job and also they can take the high position immediately with there high grades.

well my freind everything has some advantages and disadvantages........ if we talk about school life then yes it has advantages like no worry about fees, a daily or weekly allowance etc but it also has disadvantages like we have wake up early at morning do wat other are saying, study hard and there are so many other things, which makes student life complicated but when we leave this life these disadvantages seem to be good..............

i understand your situation at this time. schooling must be put in a long term context. if one wants an immediate returns for the time and effort spent, schooling is not an option. it takes years to be able to reap the benefits and realize the advantages and gains of schooling. working provides an immediate returns to efforts and times spend in it. but one tends to get stuck in one's work and rarely gets promotion and better position.

First of all, when you are learning, you do not have to work. Moreover, you must not worry about your family, about money. Your parents are doing it for you. You are concentrating at lessons. In school, you can meet many interesting people. You meet they every day on breaks. What is more, you do not have to be responsible. You can sometimes make mistakes. School organizes many departures. You can go with class to cinema; theatre or you can go to other towns or in mountains. In these trips, you will have much fun. Many interesting things can happen at school trips. Besides, school teaches us many important things. We must manage in embarrassing or hopeless situations. When we are in terrible plight, we must be in full control of the situation. Nobody can help us. We learn how keep it under control. When you late to school, teacher will pay you attention. When you late to work, chef probably will dismiss you. First, being a student equals free things and discounts. My first few weeks out of college I realized how often I took advantage of my student status. I am no longer eligible for discounts at local food markets, on electronics, etc. Not to mention having to pay for things like a gym-membership. In addition to freebies I never knew the student health center was the cheapest hospital I'd ever visit. Although it is just a doctor's office, it was nice to have a place to go when I was feeling a little under the weather... and for free. Now if I want to have a doctor check me for a sinus infection or cold, it will cost me. I also didn't realize how much I took my parent's health insurance for granted. Searching for my health insurance has been a true eye-opener. I've learned a lot about how things work and what terms like "deductible" and "co-pay" mean as well as how expensive things can get

The only disadvantage I see in studying is the opportunity cost you incur when you are studying. What I mean is the time you use in going to school may have been used for something else like working or helping in your parent's business. There are a lot of things you could do when you are not in school. However, this is not really a disadvantage, since by attending your classes, you invest in yourself in the hopes that you would land to a better job when you graduate.
