Cheating

I experienced being cheated and betrayed by my best friend and it really hurts than being cheated by my lover. We treated our friends as family that's why for me it hurts more when a friend turns his/her back on you. We considered them as our confidant and somebody who always there when we are in bad times. They are the ones whom we always talk and hang out with.

I must agree, your friend turning his or her back on you hurts more than your boyfriend or girlfriend cheating on you. True friends are relatively harder to find than a boyfriend or girlfriend. Boyfriends and girlfriends come and go, but true friends stay. They are part of your 'support system' together with your family. They have been somehow already a part of your family. And to be betrayed by someone whom you treated as family and whom you have trusted you wholeheartedly, that is depressing. But you know what hurts the most? If your boyfriend cheated with your best friend. Ah that is a life shocker.

I would have to say actually my boyfriend cheating on me would be more painful. I am sharing something special with him, I am sharing my life with him. Having him cheat on me would be like a slap in the face, as if everything we shared meant nothing.

i think both hurts... i mean its the trust that they broke not just your heart... its really hard to get back on your feet when this happens... i never forgives anybody that broke my trust... my friends used me. and now i just find out that they are all fake... my ex did cheat one me too with his ex... i guess they are happy together now...

Much painful when your love cheated on you. But it extremely painful if your friend and your love does it to cheat on you. But if only friendship and does something to lie on you. There is no cheat on such ways

Do you mean if a best friend goes behind your back and betrays you, versus a boyfriend/girlfriend doing it? I would agree that the best friend thing would hurt more. I think the boyfriend one would hurt more at first, since you'd feel rejected...But in the long run, losing a friend who has been there for you throughout everything would hurt ten times worse. It'd be the person you trust the most tearing you apart. With friends like that, who needs enemies. "I told God to protect me from my enemies, and I started losing friends." Everyone deserves better friends than that.
