I recently read that eating cinnamon each day helps with arthritis pain. I have arthritis in my knee and my ankle from a car accident I had a few years ago. Has anyone tried this? I know certain herbs and spices are very good for you but never heard this about cinnamon. I am willing to try just about anything. Does anyone have any other suggestions for joint pain and arthritis?

cinnamon, wow never heard about that before..thanx to you Trvlarrngr. will cinnamon on top of coffee and bread counts?
My daughter was diagnosed with arthritis when she was two (2). Her doctor ask me to give my daughter a piece or more of banana everyday (But need to watch her digestion). And it works on her.She still has arthritis but unlike before, the pain reduced and hopefully in a year will be gone completely.

I eat a lot of bananas and nothing changes for me. Glucosamine is what I have been taking but the cinnamon sounds like it might work too. What about cinnamon on a banana? Sounds tasty.

Good day TrvlArrngr,
Your main topic discussion is very timing. As my knee is aching again for the past few days. Since, I love to make a coffee with cinnamon, so maybe I will do combine again a little of cinnamon to my coffee so I can rid of this pain immediately.

Hullo! I have heard that powdered cinnamon helps in controlling cholestrol . I do not know about arthritis. However, I have heard that red hibiscus[shoe-flower, the one with just 5 petals ]is very good for arthritis. A few petals must be soaked in water , made into a decocotion after boiling the water and drunk.

I will have to research this. Thanks for the tip! I think I will try the cinnamon first and then if that does not work - I will try the red hibiscus. Thanks.

I have never heard this before but if this work it is good for who suffer this pain.
I know that cinnamon helps a lot in our diet.
We have different cereal with cinnamon because help the children to grow up fast and healthy.
But if this is prove scientific that it work will be one more good thing from cinnamon.

Alfalfa -lucerne (Medicago sativa) tea is recommended in treating arthritis, especially from its seeds. There are recommended about 3-4 cups of tea daily. For a 1 cup put a 1 tablespoon of seeds.
You can also have a drink made of = 2 tablespoons honey, 1 & a half of a cup of water and 30 ml of vinegar mere. Drink oce a day. If you use this remedy daily symptoms should disappear within a month.
Same, Aloe vera gel taken before meals. Ginseng has a good effect against pain. Burdock's good both for use in teas but also compresses on painful areas.
You should make a try . The human body is unique and each reacts differently, If you use one of those and have effect send me message so I shall know. only well.

You don't just drink the vinegar. The proper use is to mix equal parts of Honey and Vinegar and then add this to good warm water so it will mix well and then add cold water to make it easy to drink. Any kind of vinegar will work for this but we prefer Cider Vinegar because it just tastes better.

I have heard that cinnamon is a natural anti-inflammatory when taken in small doses. Please be careful with it, and good luck.
