Actually the translation should be "2 women group fighting each other for the control of a corn field". "Ibu-ibu" in Indonesia can be used for mothers as well as women. The news was about a group of women who had been planting corn on a field that was ownership-disputed by another group of women. When the planting group was doing the harvesting, the other group came to stop them and a fight with bamboo and stick as weapons broke out. Luckily no major injuries were reported. It is sad that such thing happened but sometimes it is hard to say who is at fault. Maybe it happened because people who have land they don't plant but people who wanted to plant but they don't have land. By law it is the right of the owners who see fit what they want to do with their land. But to look at it from another angle, people who wants to make a honest living from the land are without land.
