Audiobooks, e-books or tree books. Which do you prefer? I like audio books if they have some live action in them. e-books are great if you want to catch up on some reading with a device and tree books (hardback, paperback) are great for kids to learn how to read or for those who just need a book in hand. Which is your favorite kind of book to read?

Most of the time I read what you have termed tree books. I am not opposed to the other two. I just usually can't afford them. I have been able to enjoy a few audio books. They are really great for when you are driving all by yourself. I would like to have one of those new Kindle's. Maybe I can afford it after I do my kids taxes and they pay me back what they owe me.

The Kindle is great because you can download tons of books and have them on the go.

In fact I still prefer to read the normal books because the feeling is good. E-books is fine since it is convenient and environmental. Lately most of the time I just like to listen to the audio books since I can enjoy it when I am on the way to work and go home. It will not waste the time.
I love China

I like ebooks and audiobooks because you can take them on the go where ever you go. It also gives you something to do to keep from being bored too. This means that when you just want to calm down after a long day, or if you just want peace and quiet you can listen to the books and read them at the same time.

Actually i prefer all 3 of them.. lol :D Having a tree book in hand makes me look knowledgable even though i prefer magazines more.. lol :D While between ebooks and Audiobooks, i would choose Audiobooks because i'm not a fan of reading. With Audiobooks, everything is read out loud for me, and it's not as boring like ebooks with only words.. haha Not forgetting, with a tablet in hand, it tends to make one look professional.. lol

Yeah, i'm still here just that not as active like before ^^
U'r right, some bookstores have already closed down in singapore, even borders.. haha They claim it's due to some rental problems, which might be caused by not enough sales generated? lol

Hey kun, its been a while, glad to see you are still here. I like audiobooks too because I like to be read to as well. I do like to read though so I can research stuff. e-books are the newest thing, it has caused a lot of book stores to close though.

I like the fine old fashioned 'tree' books. I have thought of going to audio books but when I am in the car I usually have my kids in with me and I probably wouldn't be able to hear much of it anyway. Not going to haul out my old tape player at home. So tree books it is.

Lately I have been doing most of my reading through audio books, specifically the little play away books I get at the library. they are small and fit in my shirt pocket. Then I can take a walk and listen to a novel or listen while driving around. Currently I am listening to James Patterson's "Now you see her," and I am lost in it. I think he is a fantastic writer.

i hate audio books i get distracted too easy. ebooks i dont like because it hurts my eyes to read off a screen. tree books is what i prefer but it saddens me that a tree was killed to make the pages. all in all i never have time to read anything but i like to at least hold in my hand the actual book

Don't worry about trees that are killed to make books, unless that book tells how to plant a tree.

I enjoy listening to audio-books primarily because I can listen to them while I am doing chores around the house or trying to get a little exercise time in. I do not have an eBook reader so I do not have much experience with this type of reading. The type of reading that I really enjoy though is with an actual book (tree book). I believe that the enjoyment comes from being able to feel the book in my hands along with how the book smells. Reading an actual book is also one way that I have to be able to take 5 for myself and with an actual book I can let my imagination work while I try to visualize the written word.

I prefer reading ebook. They're so convenient and they don't take too much space to store. Ebook are also cheaper and environtment friendly.

i have never used audio books before. E-books are great to have especially if you always travel, you can read them anywhere as long as you have your gadget. tree books are okay, but I'd rather save the trees.
