Yes, Palawan is one of the most famous tourist sites in the Philippines. It has all what it takes to quench the thirst of anyone craving for both land and water adventures. The beautiful beaches of Palawan are made of white sands and the swaying palms that line the beach shores are all relaxing sights. Palawan is known for water sports activities as well as island hopping, snorkeling and kayaking activities. It is also a diving haven because of the numerous shipwrecks found along the coasts of Coron Island in Palawan, a famous destination for wreck divers. Don't worry friend I will go surfing later. Thanks a lot.

That depends on where in Palawan you are going. In Palawan, there are 3 major tourist destinations. Puerto Princesa, Coron and El Nido. In Puerto Princesa, there are only a few big hotels to choose from. I would choose Hotel Fleuris for you since it is the one that is located in the town proper itself. If you want a native touch to your trip, try Puerto Pension. It is like an inn but their rooms are ok. All are made from native materials. And their restaurant at the 4th floor has the best view of Puerto Princesa bay. If you want it a bit more expensive, try Dos Palmas resort. But the thing is it is an island resort. You might want to stay on the mainland just to do your shopping... :D In El Nido, I haven't been there yet so I can only recommend El Nido Resort if you want peace and quiet and nature at its best. But I have been hearing cheap resorts springing in the mainland of El Nido that offers adequate accommodations to start your adventures in the surrounding islands... In Coron, there are a lot of island resorts to choose from to start your island hopping adventures. They have upscale resorts such as El Rio Y Mar and Club Paradise Resort and the not so expensive island resorts such as Dive Link Resort and Coral Bay Resort. They also have lodges in Coron Town that you want to consider. Sea Breeze is one of them.

To be on the safe side with your foreigner friend, just check in at Hotel Fleuris. It is cozy and has the ammenities of a standard hotel. The market is just 2 blocks away and it is just a street away from the main avenue.

Thanks doggydimon for your effort it is a big helped for me, I am looking for a more cheaper but presentable, good and safer. As if I am afraid to spend our days in Dos Palmas because of the incident happened their many years ago. But we are not celebrities anyway we are just simple and an ordinary people, lol. Again, thank you and your suggestions is very much appreciated.

I have not yet been to Palawan but I think you can look on-line for travel agencies that can show you around. Hope you can send me Palawan delicacies or specialties they have there and of course my chocolates. Wish I can see also your adventures through Facebook

Oh I thought you went their last summer with your sister, Yes friend I would wait other's suggestion and I could also do surfing later. Of course my dear I would not forget those delicacies and chocolate as soon as we pursue this plan vacation. Its hubby's idea this Palawan because his friends want that place, me and the kids want to go outside the country instead but we are just good follower, and no personal budget for the trip,

I suggest eskaya, most expensive hotel there I think. I have never been there though. But Palawan is on our list for our summer getaway next year, hopefully I can go there too. But surely we will stay in a much cheaper hotel. :)

Hi bhonti, thanks for your suggestion but I'd rather go to less expensive hotel or resort because we have no enough fund for this trip. Yes, summer is the best time to spend adventure there because of their beautiful beaches. Don't think of me boastful or the like but I would not appreciate beaches really the reason why I am not interested of this coming vacation, It's just for the sake of our guest from abroad.
