while i generally eat healthy and pay attention to what goes into myself on a regular basis. not alot of sugar, watch the fat content, stay away from artificial sweeteners and synthetic vitamins like the plague.. i do enjoy my occaisional trip thru the micky d`s drive thru. those fries man, theyre AWESOME!
i spend alot of time perusing through recipe websites to get new ideas to try out on my fully aware guinea pig family members, and like to try things ive never tried before just for the fun and experience of it.. and this year, even tho not home made, i had planned to experience this McRib i always seem to miss out on but there is so much hooplah about it every year. until i read this..

i didnt care about the fact that taco bells "meat" isnt all meat (theres tons of fillers.. thats why yer able to get that giNORmous chalupa for a buck and change) didnt care that frank perdue treats his chickens better than his employees (the man makes one heck of a bird thank you very much) but this.. i think i threw up a little .

Sadly anything you didn't make yourself contains numerous things that we would not ordinarily consume had everything been home made. The whole thing is no surprise. I will not flock for the McRib we only go 1-2x a month if that and get stuff off the dollar menu as the kids enjoy their play land and it's something for them to do for a bit that doesn't cost a heap.
By chance have you watched Food Inc?

food inc.. no but am an avid veiwer of the food network. hafta disagree with you on the comment if you dotn make it yerself its full of artificial etc ingredients. sit down casual restaurants arent geared for mass consuptions, and the food is the same youd make at home.. just not all the work.
sorry to tell you moneyman.. it is true .

I am not really into fast food, never really have been.
When I raised my children their fast food restaurant was BK's I bet
when you read that you thought of Burger King..lol..
BK's in this family meant, Bobbi's Kitchen
I have never had a McRib and I do not plan on it.
