I have wrote earlier about my daughter's illness and also her recovery from the problem. It was end of June when he had to admit hospital and undergone a surgical operation owing to umbilical infection. We were very happy with the recovery. But my daughter is again facing the same problem. The doctors informed us that if the medication failed then we have to take a serious decision of removing umbilicus. As per doctor's prescription we followed the antibiotic course, done culture and sensitivity and AFB stain test. In the pathological examination nothing has been found. So we have to take the decision of removing the umbilic. My daughter is under mental anxiety. She is very anxious and denying to remove it. Her final examination is ringing at the door. She has almost left her food. Reading has gone. I am hopeless. If this situation continues she will not pass in the exam. And her health is breaking down. She is always requesting us not to remove the part from her body. My husband is trying to understand that after the operation we shall go to a cosmetic surgeon and the cosmetic surgeon will manage everything. But as she has no idea about this she is nothing but crying. I don't know what is coming to us.

I have never heard of this infection, but if I were you I´d go to seek a second opinion as the first surgery did not solve the problem. What kind of infection does she have? Depending on it is the way to follow. There are several antibiotics for bacteria and some virus can be cured with medicines too.

Marguicha! we have visited another surgeon and he also advised the same, the removal of umbilicus. It is the cause of infection after her birth. She treated for septicemia when she was only 9 days. We are now trying to get advice from a homeopath. We are just passing our days with anxiety.

I wouldn´t treat such an infection with homeopathy. It seems to be a recurrent infection of all her life and she might be exposed to another septicemia.

I sincerely feel sorry for your daughter. She must have been so scared and helpless by then. It is quite similar with what my girlfriend is going through now. She had her appendix removed a few days ago and now she is still in pain. She also experienced side effects such as irritable bowel syndrome which she went to toilet for the big one at least three times a day. It is unfortunate that she may have to leave with this condition through the rest of her life. I am really sad and I hope that such thing never did happened to her.
