Lights,camera,discussions

I know the holidays are right up on our tail, they will be here before you know it. I have not started to decorate yet. I always waited for the Friday after Thanksgiving to start. I do not do anything outside, city living in a brownstone is not that easy. But I do decorate the inside. I have a 9 foot tree but I have not put that up for a few years now. I have bought me a smaller one. I used to have an 8 and half foot tree and I had like 1500 lights on it. I made it so that every night I could make it a different color. But that was years ago. This is not a happy year for me but I try my best. Your house looks real cool, I like it and I am sure the grand kids love it also.

I think that your lights are very pretty. I really do enjoy looking at the lights at christmas. It is my favorite holiday because of the lights. I do have lights outside but most of them do not work again. Each year I go through this but I leave mine hanging all year and use them throughout the year.

Nice if you go look at my photos here you willsee what my yard looks like every year but not sure we will gtthem all up att he new house!

I need to live near you as I would love to put my decorations up before Thanksgiving. I guess in a way I have started decorating because I still have snowmen up in the house that I didn't take down last year. I hate trying to get them down as it seems that the weather never cooperates. I love your lights and it sounds as though you are very much in the Christmas decorating spirit. I enjoy Christmas so much, but this year I would like to take a trip for the holidays instead of doing all of the work around here to get ready for the day.

your place sure looks beautiful. We dont do as much as this and my husband is the "Christmas decorations fan" not me. When we got married I realized how much of this stuff he had already and as he was bringing the subject of a Christmas Tree up I got him an artificial one which also sits in the basement now. Wait and see whether he will do any decorating this year. LOL.

I will get to it Grandpa Bob, but we have to do birthdays first. I like the driveway stars the best. I collect stars.

I've been very tempted by all the sales of Christmas lights but I'm resisting. I have enough already I think. My problem is that I can put up most of them and they are solar lights but my friend bought me some that have to be plugged in and he has to put them up for me as I cannot climb the ladder. Also, the lights are so expensive here and that interferes with my savings plan.

After the craft sale I will...and the day after Thanksgiving I"ll put up the inside decorations. I am having company for THanksgiving and I have a small house so can't put the tree up yet. I love Christmas and the decorations!
