Ha ha, I think cats are the most useless animals ever. Well for enjoyment they are useful, but unless your cat is really friendly, they tend to always hide or do their own thing.
But personally, I prefer dogs. Reason because, they are usually friendly, they keep your house safe, they always try to earn their food or treats, and they wait for you all the time when you leave the house.
I think in a way, you can create a bigger bond with a dog than a cat, cats just don't seem like they care .
But it is always your preference, and if u enjoy cats, then love cats, no one should stop you.
Cheers!

Cats are good for cuddling if they are willing to (mine hate it!).
Mine are fat and only come home to eat and take shelter from the rain.
One of them had a period of bringing rats on a daily basis and I liked that a lot!
He would catch these huge rats and bring them while still being alive in front of our door! Seems like he caught them all since he doesnt bring them anymore.
They are helpful if they are not spoiled.

Your cat works hard for you by catching those huge rats, that is one thing of their activity as cat catching rats the reason why, cats catches rats because rats are there enemies.
I rather just might say, thanks that there is cat which God created them for the rat they are the soldier to sentence those rats.
Thanks for the nice response.

Hello, good day to you! cats loves to play, for them it is just a play but they do not know they already destroy things that are important to us.
We might just lend to them our attention during the time when cat is playing, for them to be aware from giving hazard in our home.
I'm thankful for your wonderful response!

My cats are my "children" and "grand-children" and I love them dearly. But they are very destructive. They sit and sleep wherever they want to. If something blocks their way, they just knock it down. Recently, they knocked down my coffee pot. Nothing is sacred to them. I can't have anything nice around the house. And, since they don't understand English, I have to figure out another way to deal with them.

I have tow cats. They are the most adorable pet in the whole world for me. Like your kids, I love playing with them. They bring so much joy to me even if they can be snob at times. However, my mom thinks that they are dirty and could bring sickness to us. She always gets angry when she sees my cats kneading and scratching our furniture (I find this cute). They would also leave remains of the rats they caught outside our house so that only adds to her anger. She has threatened me before that she will throw my cats away. I cried so she did not pursue it.

Good day! Nice experience from your cats, cats are just like us the difference is that they cant speak the reason is they are just animals, that's why they need someone to care for them.
Thank you so much for giving your awesome response to my discussion.

I have had both cats and dogs. Since the decline of my health, I have to say having a cat is much easier to care for than having to always get up and down taking a dog in and out. I had chihuahuas so they were not going outside without me thus it made it much harder on me.
I have two cats one is supposed to be my son's but naturally do all the care so although she is very independent, she is always by my side when I am laying down. Or if I don't feel good she will stick by.
My other cat Tink is mine and the only time he is not by my side is when my son's cat is around. Its like they both have their own special time for me.
I really find them good company.

I love having cats at home! I have 4 cats, and even though they can be annoying waking me up in the middle of the night, they are great at catching bugs and mice. They are all super sweet and loving. They are like actual members of our family =)
