hello everyone! Well, I just wanted to ask. If you know why my star down into 8 again which I already have 9? I am trying my best to figure it out but I cant find any solutions. Did I done wrong to the site? or do other people reported my that I violate some rules. I need an answers guys(myLotter's) help me

It also happened to me....I used to be having 10 for a couple of months, then suddenly i saw it went down to 9, I ignored it and just continued participating.....then suddenly it went up to 10 again which I announced in mylot that I am very happy about....the very next day, my reputation went down to 9....i think someone has negatively rated my comments...i just think so....could be the same thing happened to you....

hello thanks for your response, well do you know how to know this people give me a negative respond? I just want to know what did I just said why he/she gave me that. I've been trying my best to participate in discussion to have my reputation back but seems it is really difficult now. from the last time you encounter it? did you report it? thanks again.

There's no way to trace who negatively rated us, not that I know of.....no, i did not report as I don't think it is a violation....the only solution that I could see is to keep on participating. some mylotters explained that if you have more participation, there is some kind of ratio being calculated between the negative rating and the number of participation, hence it would affect your reputation, something like that, I don't understand exactly....now i just keep on commenting and commenting....don't be sad, go on and it will also go up. When you get a mylot rating 85.6 you get 9 star rating. But when on account of others giving - instead of + when the rating comes down to 85.5 or less then your star rating gets reduced to 8. Please do not bother about it and continue to be positive as hitherto and your rating may go upto 9 and further to 10 also.

Our reputation here is not something fixed. The star can go up and down from a day to another. Especially when the reputation is in a sensible area like your reputation is now. 85/100 can mean a yellow star but 85% can mean a red star as well. A few positive (or negative) votes can make the difference. The reputation doesn't change if your activity was reported. It only changes according to the votes you gather from the other myLotters. Similar thin happen with just yesterday i was at 9 and now i am at 8 i am not that sad but just worried how much negative rating i would have recieved to drop this down i was at 90 and now at 84 that's a 6 points drop which would mean i would have hurts lot of people here or just some one who have hunt me down anyhow i guess this had motivate me to make a goal again for reaching back at 9 and then maybe at 10

That simply means that you are not participating as much as you used to do. If you want your stars to go up, you just have to participate and make sure that you have discussions that attract more respondents.
