Here are the details: http://www.fema.gov/eastest/
Every system needs to be tested to be sure that it will work in a real emergency. Why should any eyebrows be raised?

because, sense before this it was only local areas being alerted through TV and what not, now they will have it where it's nation wide, why all of a sudden nation wide? I can't help but question, but maybe im paranoid lol. To many conspiracies have evolved around this.

As I said, every system needs to be tested. If it's supposed to be a nationwide system, then it obviously needs testing nationwide once local tests have proved that it works locally. If you see any 'conspiracy theory' involved in this, I think that's evidence of paranoia. Mind you, there's dangerous evidence that the US is becoming a paranoid nation, anyway.

Ever read the book "Seven Days in May"? The key to any takeover of the Government is to control the media and means of communicating. He who controls the media can control what we find out. Look how easy it is for OWS to communicate with other protesters, if they could not communicate and the media not report about it would it still be going on?
