How much water you drink in a day?

Friends, I drink almost 12 normal cups of water everyday. I did not do that in the past but now when I am older and have this depression illness and fybroid in my uterus I drink more so that I can wash away the toxins. I could not care less. Because if I don't drink water, my heart feels empty I need to be completed and full then I am at ease. Friends, how much water you drink in a day and do you drink other beverages like coca-cola and fruit juices? Do you think drinking water can be good or bad?

just 6 cups, for pure water. yeah, i'm not health as well, i'm too much drink coffee. and smoke.

i almost never count how many i drink per day :d, i only drink when im thirsty. incidentally i don't like soft drinks, im prefer "tarik" tea. :-) thank you :-)

I try to drink a lot of water, because of the fact that I am trying to lose weight at the moment and I am doing anything which might stop me from feeling quite so hungry all of the time like I am doing at the moment. I will have one glass of water with each of my meals, and then one glass in between. I will occasionally drink more in the afternoon if I'm exercising, and will usually have a drink just before I go to bed as well. I know that I drink the amount that I should, as you get a lot of fluids from you food as well.

Ditto for me - I drink around 60-64 ounces of water. I don't care if the water is plain, but I need hydration to lose weight! I add some lemon or a few drops of hot sauce to boost the flavor! But we can get our water from other sources. Fresh fruits and vegetables rich in water - watermelon, cucumber, and the like - are filling. The fiber in them isn't the only thing that makes us eat the rest of the meal less!

I should drink a lot more water than I do honestly. I just don't like anything plain or with no taste. Water has no taste and I have a difficult time getting past that fact. If it doesn't taste good I don't eat or drink it... I know I need to change that! =(

Hi! I drink almost a lot odf water every day. I drink water or tea once in about 30 minutes. In this way, I won't feel thirsty easily, and I keep drinking at the daytime, but at the nighttime, I don't drink water after 7. Because I think too much water at night will make my body include water inside. Water is important, especially when we get older, we need more water. I like drinking tea best. How about you?

I drink a lot of water but never measured the quantity so its good to drink and not measure other wise people will take you as a sick person.

Nowadays i am trying to drink lots of water for good health. I don't usually drink enough water before but for health reason i make a habit now to drink at least 8 glass a day and also coconut water if its available. And also i know its good for the skin and less prone to UTI if you drink at least 8 glass of water a day. I already avoid soda's or coca-cola as triggers UTI. I drink fruits juices as long as it fresh.

I drink about 5-6 glasses of water every day.. mostly while eating something.. I use to drink less but then I read few articles about the amount of water required for the body...and the benefits of water.. I started drinking more water... I tend to drink less when I am working in the office .. so I make sure when I am at home I drink as much water as I can for the day..

To be really honest, I don't drink nearly as much water during the course of a day and that is really something that I need to get back into the habit of doing. It is just difficult because most of the time I don't think about eating, so I'm drinking my calories. With that said, there is nothing but good for our bodies from drinking water because of the fact that it cleanses the body and that is something that we all need to have done for our bodies.

I don't measure my water intake but i normally drink half a glass every hour. I drink much when I am into a rigorous activities. I don't drink soda or carbonated drink, only water and fruit juices . I stay away from powdered juices as they irritate my throat.

Hi, as you say that you have problem in your utrous it's good for you to drink that much water to wash off the toxins of your body so that you can mantain a normal life. I also have kidney problem and I a kidney transplanted patient and my doctor has advised me to drink atleast 5-6 ltr of liquid. I drink 3-4 ltr of water and 2 ltr other liquids like juice, milk, soup etc.

Drinking water is very good to health....But I am very lazy to drink water...I only drinks about 5 or 6 glasses of water per day...I don't drink cool drinks like coca cola.Because It's not good for health...I will drink fruit juices of apple,grape,orange etc....It's good for health.... Thank you...

I usually drink 2 liters of water each day because I perspire a lot even when the weather's cold. I believe that water has so many healthy benefits and that includes transporting oxygen to the cells, removal of waste products, and protecting our joints and organs. All of us human beings need water to survive. It helps us keep our youthful glow too. I don't think that drinking water gives any disadvantages for a person because even without eating for the entire month, one can still survive just by having generous amounts of water. :) God bless!

Water is very good for our body. If you think about it, 60% of our body is water so we need for our body to dunction properly. I drin a lot of water as well, probably around 3 liters per day! The downside is that I need to go to the bathroom often, does this happen to you as well?

Hi! I drink eight glasses of water a day on average. That's only water. It does not include the hot drinks and cold drinks that I drink like milk, coffee, juice, soda. Although I don't drink juice and soda everyday. I try to drink at least eight glasses because they say it's the minimum required for our body. I drink two glasses each meal, so that makes six, and then one during morning snacks and one during afternoon snacks.

you don't need to drink so much water. Studies have shown that we get a lot of the water that we need from our food (as a lot of food contains moisture). Therefore don't worry too much but you should drink water anyway if possible, it won't kill you to do so. I probably don't drink enough water but I will try to drink more but as I said don't think that you NEED to drink 2 liters a day as it is not always necessary. Hope that helps :)

I hear 8 glasses a day is a myth. I once heard a wellness expert say half of the foods you eat are 80% water like fruit and vegetables. So I try to eat more fruits,veggie,juice,tea and I drink water in moderation. Sometimes I want flavor.

Hi, I try to drink at least 10-12 cups of water too, but sometimes i have to force myself to do so. I had similar problems too, and though i'm well now it can only be good to flush away toxins. I noticed that my skin is in a much better condition since i drink a lot of water, and it keeps me from eating when I'm not hungry.

Even I had trouble due to not drinking enough water. I used to drink very little water earlier. And I dont have habit of drinking other bevarages much. So my doctor has suggested me to drink at least 1 gallon water a day. Thats too much I know. I ahve settled down on drinking Half a gallon everyday. And it sure is good.
