Play a meditation cd.
If that doesn't work, I get up and write it down in my journal. Then it gets it out of my head and onto paper.
That seems to help me.
If all else fails, I listen to a AM radio talk show. Either it gets my mind off of what I am thinking so I can sleep, or it bores me to sleep. LOL

I have found that if I write down what's going on in my head it often helps. After doing that I try to get involved in a book so I will be thinking of the story and not the problem before I go to sleep.

Figure out what is bothering me so badly and do the best I can to fix the problem. Sometimes I talk to my husband or a friend, that helps too. Other times I take something to help me sleep. Problems look bigger and worse than they are when you're tired. Exercise or just doing something physical (like cleaning house or working outside) to keep myself busy help too. Sometimes that's when I do my best thinking and can sort through the problem and find my answer. Hope you sleep well tonight. :)

Part of my problem is that I would work though the issue and then when I would go lay down and then my mind would start races. THen I would get back up and this just went on and on. You are right the problem was so small and almost stupiod to loss sleep over. I diffently will be going to bed early tonight

You could try taking some Tylenol pm, I take 2 like 1 hour before I go to bed for the night, I go in and watch tv until I become tired enough to fall asleep. Sometimes our minds race so much, it is hard to sleep, but the Tylenol PM has helped me, you could try it.
