Can we avoid this to happen?

Today, here where I live, a cameraman died when he was filming a police operation against the drugs traffic. The police was invading a shanty town and the camera man was working under the gunfire with the bullet proof vest, but he ended up dying. Do you think that this type of thing could be avoided? I always thought that the journalists and camera mans that go work in this type of situation are crazy, because it's so dangerous and they get so close to the gunfire.

sad to hear.. but people working as cameramen, photographers and journalists, are always expose to many obstacles, dangers..they take risks in doing their jobs. we hope and pray that God always guide and bless them. :)

We can't avoid that this is happening because the job of those people is full of risks. It seems that there is only this way to get the news. I think they love their jobs and the adrenalin that there is in such situations. By now they can use only the security measurements which are available.
