How do think about the role of money in life?

Money is definitely important but it's not all. I used to think like that when I was young. But nowadays, I must strive to earn money daily to live on myself. Sometimes, I even have time to relax or go out with my family. What I think is always how to make more money and I feel very tired. How do you think about the role of money in your life. Have you ever wished the life without money but happy, warm and not worried? Please share with me your opinion

I am happy that i have the capacity to earn my own money. At least, in my own way, i can help my husband in our daughter's expenses in sending her to Medical school. Al though, she's a full scholar, her dorm fee and allowance as well as miscellaneous needs are ours. So we work in order to sustain our living as well as her studies.
Money plays a vital role in our life. Without it we won't be able to buy our needs in life.

You are great mom while my parent requires me to work hard to bring them money. I feel very very tired now. Actually, people need money and sometimes it is more important to family ship. In my place, people even fight each other despite familyship to win money.

So you have your full time job now? I guess, some parents out of hardships would require their children to pay them back, once they finish college and have a job.
Well, i guess it's just the right attitude for us to repay them. But when we feel that we have given enough, we can break free from them, when we marry and have our own family.
As with our daughter, we will not expect them to do that. She has her own mind and she knows what should be done.

i think the only thing money is important because it's the thing that could buy the things you need even for the costs of living we have.. but the real value it's just a pain in the a** that makes people lives takes under control... well money is just a money, a simple piece of paper stating its value... but can't buy the value of true happiness or your dignity... :D

Money is more important in our life, but not all things. any one should consider money as a method for their life to spend in their activities and necessaries in that target, we pleased with money, but if we consider money it self as a target, that is a dangerous, because we do not satisfy as a lot as we collect from our money.

To earn for earnest living is a good thing to acquire money. We are not capable nowadays to live life without it. It is true also that money is a root of all evil, because there's no bad elements if not. Money is the one important for people to possess to sustain our day by day survival we have more necessary needs aside from shelter, clothing and many more. The only money could not give for us is a true happiness. God bless

Money is something we need to provide for our daily needs but I believe that it only contributes to our temporary happiness. What's sad to note is that it can be the root of evil and corruption for those people who are not satisfied with what they have. All I can think of right now as an answer to your question is Jessie J's Price Tag song. It's not all about the money indeed. It's about how we value the purpose of our lives, being happy and in a simple bliss as we live, be with our loved ones and achieving our goals and ambitions. If only people can all be contented with what they have or even just everyone having a financial equilibrium state, that all of us are leveled equally, then I guess nobody can think of something bad like reaching to be at the highest peak and to be superior to everyone without thinking of those who are stepped on. ;) Just sharing my thoughts. Is is definitely important. You can't live on love and hope alone. I definitely don't want to be the richest person out there (I would not mind :P) but I want to be comfortable, I want my family to be comfortable. I want to buy and do things that I want.
