We are all ALIENS!

Whether you believe life exist somewhere else or not, the possibility is really high due to the fact that "we" are here. NASA studied meteorites and etc in recent years; and with our technology advancements they are able to find portions of our DNA in a space rock! And another thing is that - the materials in our DNA compositions (some of them) can't be traced here in earth. So, where do you think we came from!? Do you think some entity who created us all from one time will scoop us just like that one day? (Don't debate me on this GOD-believers because I'am a believer myself, science does not contradict GOD, it's tries to understand a part God)

I think we need to be careful, if we want to understand what NASA is doing. I do not understand too much about dna myself but I do know for what ever reason even in the news releases that come out some of the writers put in things to grab interest and they may not be completely accurate to the study.
This small article I read I think is saying they have found material that might lead to something but not actual dna or anything alien or in other words very speculative.

The carbon-rich meteorites, contain something called adenine and guanine, which are components of DNA nucleobases. There is no evidence of contamination from terrestrial life which I think means E.T. didn’t pee on them.
Really interesting information though, wow!

Yes, this is indeed interesting - I've watched about it in youtube and they linked the news to the reptile creatures from the coming planet x or something. So, there is actually a factual study about it. No wonder the video looks really fake! HAHA. (I hope I can cop/paste into discussions already. T_T

I got caught in that with a really nice picture of a new star they found. The picture was really cool only thing was it was computer generated. Well done though so it looked real. The actual star is a dot with data attached that measures light waves.
Science and discovery is so interesting though don't you agree? These types of questions get you mind racing. By the way what is dna? I see strings but they confuse me. I think I missed that info when they told me I also had bugs (bacteria) crawling all over me then left the room to go wash up.

Actually just that little bit of information helps me, so thanks, I think it gets the juices going. This is great, I can yes learn more. Can't we all? :-) As long as you don't tell me Nasa saw a rock come apart and out came a life form, I'm good. - "The official report says that a team of nasa scientists rolled the rock over and were shocked to see Elvis." - joking.

A Bible-believing Christian won't believe in aliens and the possibility of having life forms beyond Earth. Consider Acts 17:26--
"From one man He made all the nations that they inhabit the whole earth; and He marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands." (NIV)
Besides, the story of creation speaks only of created beings on Earth, aside of course from angels whose existence is ahead of creation and are bound to inhabit heaven for all eternity. Had there been aliens, the story of creation would appear to be incomplete.
While Philippians 2:10 speaks of a "knee" in heaven that is bound to bow before Christ, the Bible points to heaven as God's abode.

I like this discussion its good and I hope God likes it too. God created but I think God did it in such a way as to allow his creations to make things too. I can plant a seed in my garden but God makes it grow has always been a nice saying I thought. I believe God created the angels and they did many things for the glory of God. Perhaps, if we get a visitor it might be an angel.
Anyway, consider this, I think we can safely say in our solar system, there is but one planet that has life. Life that is so very abundant. Outside our solar system nasa is now looking for a system that might possibly have a class planet like earth. Could there be something in our galaxy or in the next? Consider the distance please. Even if we could build a space ship fast enough to travel beyond our capability now(it can not go faster than the speed of light) how long would it take to get there? Let us imagine there are no worm holes. After a calculation can we say a physical visit to or from a distant planet (of earth class) would not be possibly occur anytime soon, in our life time, our children, grandchildren, great...etc, etc. Something to think about maybe?
What an awe inspiring universe.

I cannot deprive you of your freedom to decide what and what not to believe. But people like me likes to accept the playful possibilities. Personally, I'am a christian, yes, and I do believe in the bible. But, the bible is so parabolic that we can never expect the exact meaning of each word. The bible didn't say "there are no other creation." or something. Science is our way of discovering what has been laid for us to see and understand them in even more clarity - so we cannot deny the fact that science and innovation is an instrument of God to be able to understand a part of his plan. Like when humans discovered and understood genetics, when people finally saw it they are happy, and they are happy because they'd found out that the cosmos is specially designed to support life and that being here isn't just by a chance. So I guess what my point is, I wouldn't really put God between existence of aliens and such because we do not know that - only he knows that, only he know everything, and we only know a part of how this world works. The bible also said "God formed the heavens, he did not formed it to be empty, but formed it to become inhabited." But again, who am I to know - haha - I'm just exercising my freedom on what I want to believe in. Thank you very much for your thoughts shared here. I appreciate you respond, and its very informative. God Bless you.

@ehleonkyrietales: Romans 12:3 forbids us to think more highly than we ought to think but to think soberly based on faith. Hence, there should not be "playful possibilities" as you call it. Yes, as humans, we can never "expect the exact meaning of each word" in the Bible, BUT, Daniel 12:9-10 foretells a group of wise men who will understand in the end times, when knowledge shall be increased. We only have to identify these wise men to whom understanding shall be given, to whom the prophesy "many shall be cleansed and purified, the wise shall understand" will manifest.
I agree science complements the Bible as it vividly tells and confirms what were written. In fact, the Bible mentions that the world is round and it is. Solomon didn't know how the bones of an unborn child develop inside the womb, but science was able to explain this.
Yes, God formed the heavens not to be empty. He created the planets, satellites like the moon in some of these, comets, asteroids, and all. He designed all of these for man's survival on Earth since these keep the balance in the cosmos to make the Earth at its steady place. Mind you, God did not form the heavens to be inhabited. God commanded man to inhabit the earth, subdue it and have dominion over the livings things that move thereon(Genesis 1:28).
Yes, we do have the freedom to think but as I mentioned the Bible has a regulation on how we should think.
@Bluedoll: Your thought of having angels as visitors is Biblical. See Hebrews 13:2.
Because of the advancement of technology, man may in a distant future be able to reach places beyond the Milky Way. Nonetheless, the Words of the Bible will still remain the same. His Words shall not perish and the truth revealed thereon shall prevail.
