Sympathy and kindness to the needy people.

There are different ways people try to help needy people, making donations to charity organizations, offering gifts to homeless people, and so on. From time to time, I do make donations to organizations helping needy people in different parts of the world. What has been your way of showing sympathy and kindness to the needy people ?

i give to charity alot.. everytime i pass someone collecting for charity i always give some money :)
