Hi mylotters,

I am happy for I have now have enough time to scan here in mylot and to see responds and great discussions today.
Mylotters, I want you to meet KIMBO.He's my Dog and he needs help.
Anyone here who is a Veterinarian or a dog lover who experienced this one.
This is what happen, Kimbo is a fun loving Dog, he easily get jealous when I give attention to other dogs. He then attacked the dog that i will cuddle. We do have 3 dogs in the house. Just this week KIMBO don't feel like eating and looks so tired, nausea and vomiting noted. I feel so sad. Do you know what to do with this?We can't afford to send him into a dog clinic, we don't have money..
mylotters please help me
thanks a lot

I would have to agree with Giftsandbagscom. Dogs do pick up things from the floor or from outside. They eat everything and anything that is not nailed down. And some dog bones, the ones they play with may be made with some kind of material that does not agree with the dog. Also, about dogs eating anything, he could have eaten something that he cannot digest or something that has gotten stuck in his intestine. If that is the case, then he would need to see a vet. I hope everything works out for you and you new KIMBO.

He must be scavenging around somewhere. Since dogs are not like humans, they tend to fall back into the natural habits of animals when left alone. They either become the pack leader or a pack follower. He also might be, like I said, eating something and getting sick from it. Keep an eye on him.

I am not having pet dogs in our house. You are a nurse and am sure you must be 80% proficient in identifying the problem.
I am giving a link which may be of help to you:

yeah, maybe your dog something he's not supposed to eat. I'm not a vet. but I love animals especially dogs and I always watch animal planet. I watched this one show with the title "my dog ate what?". The dogs that are featured there ate things like tennis balls, rat poison, hair balls, etc and the vet. said that when a foreign object is present inside a dogs stomach, it usually causes nausea and vomiting.

hi hatley, i feel so sad im already here in the city where in vets are available and my place is 3 hours away from where I am. My family cant afford to send him into a vet. just saw him before i left and i hugged him, he looks so tried and weak. Just called my mom just few minutes ago and she told me they had taken kimbo a meds and he left in our house this afternoon and was still not home this late, its 10pm and he is usually home. My heart is breaking!

I'm not sure if this response is too late. Though i'm not a vet, i have been taking care of dogs since i was a kid and i am a member of one reputable pet forum that condemns puppy mill and such. I'm a bit disappointed actually that you cannot send him to a vet. The symptom is quite vague and if you haven't had him vaccinated for parvo, it's most likely the cause of his vomiting. You can try giving him sugar if that would still help but most likely if it's parvo then he will really die. And if indeed it is parvo, then the rest of the dog will be infected as well.
However, as i've said, the symptoms are too vague and it could just be a stomach upset or other kind of sickness.

Your dog is very sick. You must bring him to a vet for that injection he needs.
If you cannot afford this at all, you might want to try to do a herbal treatment. There is no guarantee on this for dogs, though. This is 100 percent effective on humans and I have managed to save some lives by administering this.
Take a good amount of guava branches. The ones which are mature and thus have brown bark already.
Cut this into pieces so that each piece will fit into a stainless steel kettle that you have at hand. Boil this in some minutes until the water turns into dark brown. Allow the concoction to cool and then make your dog drink a glassful of it three times a day. You may use a large size dropper for this purpose or a syringe minus the needle.
This guava concoction is 100 percent to cure any stomach related ailments like amoebiases, gastroentritis, cholera and many more that you can think of.
