Growing Skin Rashes Regularly

Philippines

I'm a 27 year-old Filipino, single and working the whole day with my computer, taking a bath twice a day and using a lightening soap and exfoliating daily. I have a problem that started at about 4 months ago, I keep on having this some kind of skin rashes, it commonly grows in my back down to my butt, sometimes in my thighs and arms. These rashes doesn't spread like a common allergy. I would only feel a little itch then after some scratchings, it grows like rash in a small area the it spreads out after a while, and it would be there for around 5 minutes or so. I never had those on my face and lower limbs. I'm a little bit worried about this since it keeps on appearing on a daily basis. Could someone help me please..

Better check with the dermatologists my friend because it might be caused by a fungal infection. And if you exfoliate, don't do it everyday because it will harm your skin more, skin are delicate. You only exfoliate once or twice a week my friend

Yeah, thanks a lot jazel.. Frequent scrubbing my skin could be another factor and might have to cure it from the inside. :D

Stop using those lightening soaps as well as those exfoliating ones. They dry the skin so much, that when the skin is dry the tendency is to itch. Instead, you can use a moisturizing soap, where it moisturizes your body, that it will not need a body lotion anymore. However, it is best that you should consult a skin specialist, because that could be a symptom of something serious. At this early, arrest it.

It is hard to tell if you have no picture of the rash and what kind of rash it is.Is vesicular, macular or papular? Well, see a dermatologist. Tests could be done like KOH or biopsy

Since you are working in the computer all day, I would assume that you are always sitting down. SO maybe your chair has some kind of bugs or something or maybe you are allergic to your detergent. Try covering your chair with a new fabric and if you still get rashes then I think you should go to the doctor because it is always better to be safe at the end.

Maybe you should check with the doctor, or maybe it was just the humidity for living in tropical country. Try the anti fungus or what else you called it phlegm? forgive my english. I hope you'll find the cure.

Maybe you're allergic to something. Since you've mentioned that it appears on a daily basis, maybe it has something to do with what you usually use everyday. It could be the soap or fabric or anything that touches your skin. Try to go to the doctor to have a check-up.

This could be due to some fungal infection. I would recommend you to make a visit to the doctor at the earliest. If the fungal infection spreads more, it would take a lot of time to cure. But the worst part is fungal infections can not be totally eradicated from your body. You can just kill it for a while. Keeping your body moist might increase the possibility of fungus. Hence, make sure you dry yourself well, soon after bathing.

May be a skin specialist can give better advice with medicine for this kind of rashes on the skin.Rash comes when the skin loses its natural remedy and resistance. So when the skin dries a lot or is moist a lot we get such problems. In winter season it is good to moist the skin as it becomes dry and we feel the itchy surface of the skin.

All I know is exfoliating daily is not good, it can damage your skin in the long run. I also don't use whitening soap 'coz I love my skin. Be careful in choosing any whitening soap, cream, lotion etc. there's an ingredient on it that is too harsh on the skin. Maybe your skin will lighten but the result is too dry. Have you seen Kris Aquino about whitening thing? With your rashes you may try using over the counter anti-fungal cream like Claritin. If it gets worst, seek help from a dermatologist nearest on your area.

Hi, even i it doesn't seem like a common allergy it might be that, I think it's better to see a doctor who could tell what it is. If they appear after taking bath then it can be that one or more of the products you use are irritating your skin. If the rashes are there all day then maybe it's a different kind of allergy. Just in case i think it's better not to use strong products on sensitive areas.
