Hi guys. I am very much fond of taking protein powders to increase my stamina and muscle fibers while I am enrolled to the gym . I took a compound called "Heavy Mass" with 5% creatine shuffled. The compound was not so producive. My muscle grew 2.5"+ in 1.5 months. Though all the credits should go to my training spree. I now prefer to take pure creatine powder when I return to my gym classes. What do you think guys? Any better suggestions? Thanks.

It seems that creatine is only effective as a muscle builder in certain circumstances. It is a 'non-essential' additive, since it is present in all meat and so will occur naturally and at sufficient levels for normal purposes in most diets. Supplements can be useful, however, to those who wish to build their muscle mass to higher levels than normal.
There is some good information about its uses, benefits and possible side effects here:

As with all information, it should be read carefully, taking into account the position of the the author, if possible. An author who is involved in selling the supplement, for example, is likely to give one an entirely different perception of the situation from one who is disinterested, even though both give 'accurate' accounts!
