Leonardo di ser Piero da Vinci can be considered one of the greatest genius even born upon this earth. He was born on 2 May 1519. He is a world renowned painter, an engineer and a scientist. His is the genius head who did great contribution to Italian Renaissance. He is a great man of the time who contributed the master work in the fields of architecture and sculpture. He was cartoonist, essayist, designer, anatomist, musician and, in general, a designer and inventor. He is considered as one of the greatest geniuses of mankind.
Leonardo upheld the importance to direct experience of nature rather than repeating the works of others. He considered that “those who speak citing the authority of other writers are swollen and pompous, dressed and adorned, not with them, but the labors of other”, He said that instead of defining what is the soul, which cannot be seen , then it is much better to study those things and learn with experience, because by learning through experience one can be sure. Experience is knowing the reality in person. The reason must be accompanied by experience.
Often we speak and form an attitude by reading the matters of others. Repeating blindly without verifying the matters makes a person silly.

I have often read your posts, but they are never discussions. All the posts I have read from you seem as taken from an encyclopaedia and made into a copy-paste. What do you want to say about Leonardo that is a personal view? All I read is something I know or something I can read elsewhere. Please, turn this into a discussion. Thank you.

It is my reflection on Leonardo Da Vinci on the occasion that the great workd of Leonard Da Vinci have been exposed in Uk and the commentry that I heard. It is not cut phaste work from encyclopedias but it is indeed a reflection on the read stuff. What impressed me great is if we visit the Vatican Musium we remain stunned for his great paintings and the gracefulness that radiates. It is only in these day that I realized that Leonardo Da Vinci was not a painter or an artist alone but he was a genius in multiple branches of science. What impressed me moreis that Even at that epoch of Renaissance there swere men who were not satisfied in rhuminating the realities shared by others but they did give importance to the personal experience. They di believe that the real wisdom does not come from outside alone but from within. Leonardo Da Vincies personal life may not be as consistent as his expositions throgh the paintings or his written works. But he was gifted by super IQ

I´m an admirer of Leonardo and, of course, his paintings were only a part of all his genious. I would suggest though that you put your posts more like a conversation that an exposition as this is a social site. It is a pity that this post has been read only by myself, and that I have critisized it(without meaning to). A more conversational tone, with maybe a question about how other people visualize the subject, will bring you more feedback. I am saying this because I have often read your posts, get interested in the subject, but don´t feel that my opinion has been asked.
I don´t mean to sound rude by giving you this advise, but there was a time when I first became a mamber of mylot that I was sad by the lack of response. Luck and happy posting!

Friend, I appriciate your conversation. A seasoned mind values the speaking and gives an opinion always for better knitting making asking to allow space for others to chat or give an openion . If no one corrects or calles for an attention then how to improve. Here in MyLot I think we enjoy that simplicity of speaking the facts with due respect. I love reading from my childhood and used to participate in debates of ellocution , so it has become for me a style to comment basing on what I read or listen to. It is may be a scholastic way of expression but here we express as life experience, so I do appriciate your feed back with thanks. Happy Myloting

Experience is the best tool for obtaining knowledge, I agree with this. But one can't experience everything on their own. A person's direct experience is unfortunately very limited. So, I think it's important that we also learn from the experience of others or from books. But we do need to employ our own judgement when we do this.
