What other than posting tweets can u do with twitter

Sometimes I post a few jokes, post some pictures of where I'm at currently. Other than that, people can make money through twitter. I have absolutely no clue how they do it, but they do. Celebrities also use twitter to promote themselves. There's plenty to do with twitter. Twitter is like Facebook, except that you can only type in 144 letters.
